This chapter is like the second to last, so I hope you like it! There will be some Tiana ;)

Biana POV

I leaned in just a bit closer and...

"Hey do any of you want mallowmelt?" My mom said, opening the door. I leaped away from Tam my face burning even more, if that was possible. We all just sat in absolute silence for a moment.

(Bahahah, sorry for the disappointment, I couldn't help myself. Don't worry it'll be worth it!!!)

"Ok...should I come back later?" My mom said staring between me and Tam.

"No, we'll come down now," I said quickly. I jumped up off the floor and walked to the door. After a moment everyone else followed. As I walked down the stairs I tried to calm myself down. But it wasn't really working. I mean my mother, my mother, had seen me almost kiss a boy. How much did she see anyway? I shuddered just thinking about it.

We all circled around the table, taking seats. My mom served us each big slices of mallowmelt and then, to my relief, she left. We sat around in silence just munching on mallowmelt in silence.

Awkward

Silence.

Keefe POV

Well this was awkward. No one was talking, Tam's face was still red, and Biana was squirming uncomfortably in her chair. I was done with my mallowmelt and now could only pick at the crumbs on my plate. I wanted to get some more, but this felt like the wrong time.

I glanced over at Sophie. She met my eyes, giving me a look that said, "this took a turn for the worse". I raised my eyebrows at her and grimaced. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore.

"So...do you guys want to play Basequest or something?" I said.

"Can we do something else?" Said Dex, "Not to be a party pooper, but it's kind of unfair since whoever has Sophie on there team always wins."

"That's true," Linh pointed out.

"Well what else would we play?" Biana asked, finally talking again.

"Oh I know!" Sophie exclaimed, "Let's play ghost in the graveyard."

"What?" We all said. Sophie then launched into an explanation of the game and its rules. She looked really cute when she was this excited. I grinned, watching her wave her arms around.

"Okay so does everyone understand how to play?" Sophie asked. We all nodded and ran outside.

It was pitch black out by now, so finding our way around was hard. Sophie was walking in front of me and suddenly she tripped, causing her to fall forward. Luckily I reached out and wrapped my arms around her before she hit the ground. I pulled her up and turned her toward me.

"You should be more careful Foster, we don't need a night time visit with Elwin," I said, grinning. She blushed, mumbled something, and kept walking. Sophie said that we needed a home base, so we chose a giant tree near the lake.

"I call being ghost!" Fitz yelled when we got there.

"Awww I wanted to be the ghost," I whined.

"You can do it next time Keefe," Biana said, "Okay, let's start playing!" Fitz closed his eyes and started counting,

"One o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock clock." We all scattered.
