RACHEL'S POV
I was so mad. Not only at Beau, but also at me. After Jai came to talk to me, I just left. And I walked home.
"Wow, good job Rachel! Now you have more then half an hour of walk to do!" I sarcastically said to myself, rolling my eyes.
At the moment I was so in my thoughts and angry, that I didn't think about the fact that Eric's house is at the other side of the town. That is so me... I can be really stubborn sometimes.
I was walking on a highway, with a lot of cars passing really fast next to me. I got scared when a guy pulled over. He rolled down the passenger window but I didn't stop walking.
"Where are you going all alone in the middle of the night?" He asked with a stupid smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes but didn't answer.
"Hey, don't be scared, I won't hurt you!" My body tensed up and I tried to hide the panic raising in me as I walked faster.
"Look, my mother told me to never talk to strangers." I said without looking at him, remembering the words of my mother when I was young.
I heard him chuckle and since I just never gave him the attention he wanted, he drove away.
When he was out of sight, I let out a deep breath I was holding and felt the tears on my cheeks again.
"Oh my god..." I whispeared in repeat, a hand on my heart. My breathing became faster as I dialed the number of a taxi company. They assured me the taxi will arrive in at least five minutes and I thanked them, my voice shaking.
I just waited at the corner of the street, glaring at every strangers walking next to me. I was being paranoid and I couldn't take it anymore. The taxi pulled up and I ran into it. I gave him my address and the driver turned to me, surprised by my shaking voice.
"Is everything alright, ma'am?" He asked with worry.
I nodded and swallowed my tears, feeling safe again between the four walls of the car. I was about to text Luke to assure him that I was fine, but my cellphone was out of battery. I hope he isn't worrying for me.
Then, I felt my eyes really heavy so I closed them and fell asleep, sobbing a little.
***
I woke in the comfy sheets of my bed. I streched my arms and yawned. Then, I realized I was in my room. It sounds weird like that, but I don't remember how I get in here. Even how I get in the house...
I climbed off my bed and found myself in my Mickey Mouse pyjamas.
Omg...
If one of the boys took my clothes off to put me in my pyj, that means he saw me naked... Because I wasn't wearing a bra!
OMG!!!
I held a hand to my mouth and started to panic in silence. I was walking in circles in my bedroom, trying to figure things out.
After a good twenty minutes of nails picking, I decided to go in the shower. It is always a good solution to relax and clear your minds.
The house was incredibly quiet, so I made my way to the bathroom on the tip of my toes. I knew Jai was going to be mad because the shower is just next to his room. I'll wake him up but I didn't really care.
I was about to close the door, when Beau's bedroom door openned, revealing a sleepy Beau with no shirt on. I slammed the bathroom door, remembering everything that happened last night. I wasn't ready to face him.
I heard a slight knock at the door. I mentally face palmed myself, as I cursed in silence.
"Hum.. It's occupied!" I said, trying to find something intelligent to make him go away.
