10. Already

RACHEL'S POV

Beau and I are over.

Already.

We have been together for two months and I really did thought I could change him. But no. He is and will always be the same.

**flashback**

I was coming back home earlier, because Lea wanted to leave and go shopping. So, when the bell rang and announced lunchtime, we left the school.

"Where are you two going?" Luke asked me, grabbing me by the arm just before I pass the doors.

"Hum.. eating!" I answered, lying, glancing at Lea who was trying to contain her laugh.

"Bullshit. You two are going to skip school!" Jai said, smirking.

"If you want to join us, it's up to you!" Lea added, starring at Daniel. (She had an eye on him.)

Finally, we ended up to leave the school with the boys. I hadn't told anyone for the program I had been proposed, because I was scared of their reaction. Only Gina knew about it. For now.

We didn't bought much clothes, but we just hang out. It was a beautiful day so after a while we went in a park. Luke took his camera out and started to film us. We were playing hide and found and running after eachothers. I hadn't laugh like that since in ages.

I was watching my friends, espicially Lea who was trying to get closer to Daniel, on a swing. I could tell that he liked her too, by the way he was looking at her. Daniel loves soccer and Lea is in the school team! They are made for eachothers. Then, I felt someone next to me.

"Hey." Jai said. I turned my face to look at him. He was weirdly shinning because of the sun.

"Hey! What's up." It had been a while since I had properly talked to him. All this story with Beau took all my time.

"Not much... I..I.."

Since when Jai stutter?

"You?" I insisted with a little giggle.

"I miss you. We were closer before you and Beau started dating. Luke feels the same way. And James, and Daniel too. We all miss you."

I looked at the ground and checked my cellphone. No message. I had texted Beau to inform him where we were but he never answered back.

"I am sorry. I'll go back to the house." I stood up and went to Lea, hugged her and told the boys I was leaving. No one insisted so I just walked home.

Beau's silver car was there, parked in the driveway. I climbed the stairs of the porch and unlocked the door. Well, it was already unlocked.

I came in the house and directly went in the kitchen to take something to drink. Then, I heard some weird noise. Like a moan...

I started to walk, following the noise. It leaded me to Beau's room. At that point, I knew what it was.

I am surprise how calm I was. I just rolled my eyes and brushed the tears away.

"Shit!" I whispeared, before opening the door.

What I saw was exactly what I thought. Beau was naked, on top of a girl. She gasped in horror and rushed to hide her body as Beau got up and stared at me with wide eyes.

"Rach.. omg, I can explain!"

"Shut up, Beau!" I fermly said. I wasn't crying or yelling. I think I was expecting this to happen.

I stood there, starring at the floor while they were putting their clothes back on. Beau kept on apologizing, as I couldn't hear a thing. The girl, a blond and gorgeous girl that I couldn't compete with, stormed out of the house, at the same moment that Jai and Luke arrived.

"Who was that?" Luke asked confused.

"Oh shit, Beau!" Jai said, realising what was happening. He grabbed his twin by the arm and they let me alone with Beau.

I was just starring at him, my eyes becoming watery even if I tried my hardest to keep them inside. He is not worth it.

"Can we talk about it?" Beau asked me. I was just starring at his eyes, those green emerald eyes that I was dreaming of at night.

"There is nothing else to say! I knew something like this was going to happen. I am not surprised, but I am hurt. I wanted to be the one who could change you. I guess I'm not."

I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Beau walked closer to me and I took a step back. He stopped. His expression was shocked.

"Don't run away from me!" He whispeared, his voice shaking.

"I know I made a mistake but you can be the one! I am so sorry Rachel..." His eyes were full of tears and it broke my heart to hear say that.

"Don't leave me." He repeated.

I came back closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped me into his arms and held me tight.

"I am sorry, but you made me run away." I whispeared in his ear.

I pushed him to get out of the embrace. He couldn't look at me in the eyes so I held his chin up with my finger.

"I think we should go back to our friendship. It's better for everybody."

Beau nodded after a couple of seconds. His hands were still holding my shoulders and he was still looking at me with sad eyes.

"I really fucked up, huh?"

My turn to nodd.

"Hey, I am not... Mad at you, I am hurt because we never went there together. I just feel like you would have never want to have sex with me." I confessed.

"Hey, no! Don't even think that! I was waiting for you to be ready!"

I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"Anyway, I don't know why we have this conversation! I love you Beau."

"I love you too, my Rachel."

I smiled and left the room. I went directly into my room, where the twins were waiting for me.

"What happenned!?"

"Are you ok?"

They both asked in the same time. I laughed and took them in my arms.

"We are back at our friendship. That's what everybody wanted right?"

Jai and Luke looked at eachothers.

"We wanted you to be happy Rach. If Beau was the one who could put a smile on your face then fine! It's none of our buisness."

"I love you guys."

When they left my room, I allowed myself to cry a little bit. Just some tears because my happiness wasn't there anymore. I felt alone, even if I knew I had everybody around me.

My phone vibrated.

Josy: I heard what happened with Beau!!! Are you ok? Call me :(

Lea: Oh baby, call me right now, I want to know that you are fine!!

Daniel: Beau is a shit, don't even cry for him!

James: we love you Rachoupichou

Wow.. everybody already knew it. GREAT!

I grabbed my phone and composed a number. He answered at the second ring.

"Hello?"

"Good afternoon, Principal Jones. It's Rachel Edwards."

"Rachel, why are you calling?" He sounded surprised.

"I am calling because I accept. I want to go in Paris."
