"Hi." I say as he sits down. I felt his stare on me and shift a little as I put my phone away. I looked towards Joe and she's giving me a smirk.
"Joe's order." The girl in the front says.
"I'm gonna go get that while you two love birds talk." She says giving me a wink. My face was boiling. He smirked at me and continued to stare at me. "Do you need something?" I asked finally looking at him. His blue eyes felt like they were staring into my soul. "Nope." After it felt like forever Joe finally came back with our ice creams handing me mine. "Ok well we should get going." I say. He starts to get out of the booth and asks "Do you want to hang out tomorrow?" He asks me looking serious. "Uhm... actually me and the girls are going to hang out so I can't."
"Actually." Joe starts " We didn't plan on doing anything tomorrow so she's all yours!" I look at Joe with shocked eyes but before I could respond he already started walking away. We walked to the car and pull away. I start to say "You know best friends dont do that to their friends especially when they know they have a boyfriend." Joe didn't respond until we were in the driveway. "The only reason I did that was because I haven't seen you speak up for yourself in a while so don't get mad at me when I was looking out for you." She says and leaves the silent car. I couldn't help but think about her words until the next day. Walking out of the house I was wearing leggings and a plain white shirt with a blue sweatshirt on. I put my hair up in a ponytail as I walk to the car. Olive and Joe were still asleep since it was eight o'clock. I drive to the nearest store and notice there wasn't a lot of people there. Walking into the dairy isle I checked to make sure that besides milk and eggs was the only thing we needed here. I heard a cough from behind me. I then mentally roll my eyes at the person that I saw.
