When The Ocean Calls

Chapter 6

  I was wearing a blue sundress with black checkerboard Vans. My hair was in a ponytail and I had a little mascara on. It felt really awkward wearing a dress. Plus the makeup. "You both  know that I have a boyfriend right? We are just hanging out!" I say looking at them. "Sure." They both say in unison. I roll my eyes at them as the door bell rings. Of course I couldn't get to the door in time and Olive did. Standing behind her as she interrogates him. Tapping on her shoulder she gives me a smile. "Now you will have her here by nine o'clock no more no less!" Erik was wearing a white shirt and black jeans. "Yes ma'am." He says and looks towards me and actually smiles at me. We walk to his car and it smelled like peppermint and vanilla. "I'm sorry for Olive. She's really nosy about people and overprotective." And I laughed at when Andrew got interrogated by her. He was so nervous about it. He looked over at me and I looked at him he then stared in front of us and backed out of the driveway. "So where are we going exactly?" I say as he turns on the radio. "Its a surprise!" He says. The music wasn't blasting only playing lightly. I started getting nervous, playing with my fingers as he kept driving on to roads I've never seen before. We stop at a movie theater and my nerves relaxed a little knowing where we are know. "So what are we watching?" I ask unbuckleing my seat belt. "I'm gonna say it again it's a SUPRISE!" He says laughing at me. "Oh my gosh I hate the suspense!" I say smiling. His eyes were soft as he looked at me and I quickly looked away trying to hide my blush. "Shal we?" He says as we get out of the car. "We shal!" I say. As we walk towards the entrance and he then grabbed my hand. Walking in I noticed that there was no one there. "Where is everybody?" I asked looking around. "I may have called in a few favors. I know the person who runs this place." On the counter before us there was a bucket of popcorn and a box of sour patch kids. I grab the bucket and I already start to pick at it. He grabs the box and I still dont know what we're seeing. We walk in and the ads were already playing. We sat down in the middle as the movie began. ************************************************************************
