🌲Evan🌲:
He was nervous. No, nervous was an understatement. He was terrified. He was afraid that if he came clean about his feelings for you that you'd think he was weird and you'd leave him. That thought horrified Evan. He just couldn't lose you.The next day while you two were out doing your own things together, the usual random walks through the woods behind your house, he came to the realization that he couldn't wait any longer. He needed to make the move. That night while you two were having dinner at his house (not a date. Just two "friends" hanging out), Evan scrambled casually away to the kitchen without you noticing.
He watched you dine on (your favorite food). Sweat began to gather on his forehead and hands. He turned towards a bag of 1 dollar napkins sitting on his kitchen counter. He scribbled the words "will you go out with me" on them and nervously walked back into the living room to you.
"Do you uh...need a napkin?" He asked starting to shake.
You gave a smile and nod and immediately took the napkin. He was worried you didn't see the message at first. Then, he saw your eyes widen with surprise. Without a second to cause Evan to worry, you jumped into his arms. You obviously agreed. Evan let out a nervously excited chuckle.
⚫️Connor⚫️:
He didn't exactly know how to go able this. He knew his feelings were real, he just needed to figure out a memorable way to actually ask you. He didn't want it to be generic and unforgettable. He wanted it to be special. He went to the dollar store and picked out a lot of balloons and streamers and other things. When he was asked by the cashier if he was having a birthday party, Connor just glared at her and with one word he answered all of her questions "no". He was getting better at being nicer to people but being questioned was still no his most favorite thing in the world.
He made it to his house and set up in his room. He didn't want Zoe or his parents finding out about this. Then, he called you and playfully demanded "your presents" at his house immediately. Confused but very amused, you headed over.
You knocked and were let in by Cynthia. She told you that Connor was in his room and that he hadn't told her you were coming. You replied with a chuckle admitting even you didn't know why he invited you over. All you two were was history project partners. Connor called your name from upstairs. When you walked in you were greeted by a huge party set up.
"Connor? W-What is this?"
Then you eyes traced to a banner. It said "will you go out with me?" written in black permanent marker.
"So? Will you?" He asked with a small smirk.
You looked in right in the eyes and smiled "of course. Jeez, it's about time you asked me!"
🧼Jared💣:
You were kind of expecting it. Jared always made harmless jokes about being together in a relationship but he joked so much that you didn't know he was being serious. All those jokes were just him trying to find the courage. He never liked to tell people but he wasn't as confident as he lead on. He wasn't like Evan, no, but he was still self conscious and used humor to cover that up. He knew he needed to do something. He casually asked you one day what your favorite candy was. Once you told him, he nodded and shrugged "Oh. I was thinking it was going to be something cool. Oh my bad."
You knew he was just kidding. His little smirk soon appeared letting you see his intentions weren't to be a jerk. You loved his types of jokes anyway so it was okay. That Saturday, Jared texted you telling you to come outside of your house. Confused and slightly worried, you stood from your couch and headed outside.
Standing there on your front porch with a wagon full of (you favorite candy) was Jared. He repositioned his glasses on his face and gave you a cheeky grin. "I heard you liked (candy name)"
"Oh my go- Jared! You didn't have to do this!" You gasped looking at the mountain of candy sitting in the wagon behind him.
"I was thinking we could head over to my place. We could sit on the roof and watch people walk by while eating all of this candy." You saw his face dye a blushy pink.
"Wait...like a date?" You questioned
"If you want to...?"
You ran straight at him giving him the biggest hug ever. Of course you wanted to!
🎵Zoe🎵:
She didn't want to wait. She knew you enjoyed being outside and being around music. This is way she picked you up from your house to take you to see the "music on the lawn" at the local library. She picked up your favorite food from your favorite fast food restaurant and set everything up on the lawn. You smiled as she rummaged around with her taco trying to prevent the meat and everything else from falling out of the shell. You sit down criss cross next to her and tear into your food. The music starts playing from the band.
"This is really nice". You tell Zoe. She was looking down at her taco but immediately jerked her head up to nod in agreement. You could tell something was on her mind, she wasn't normally this quiet. Before you even have a chance to ask her, she grabs your hand. "So...there's been something on my mind.." You watch her eyes, taken aback but ready to listen.
"I really like you... a lot. I was wondering if you'd go out with me."
Your heart instantly feels like it exploded. It wasn't often Zoe gets nervous. Seeing her all shy just made your heart grow and without a second to pass, you nodded and tightened the grip on her hand. You said "yes, I would love to" and then chuckled like an excited teenager seeing there ship sail. Except instead of being a fictional person...it was you and your crush.
📚Alana📚:
She had been inspecting the type of books, foods, movies, shows, basically everything about you. She didn't know if you felt the way she did or not...especially because she felt she annoyed you. Alana was also not really well educated in "dating". It's probably the one thing she doesn't excel at.One day while you were busy trying to finish some last minute homework that was due the next period of the day, Alana approached you with a wrapped box. She set it down in front of you and smiled wide as you looked up to meet her eyes. "Uh...hey, Alana. What's up?" You asked before seeing the box.
"I decided I have new feelings never felt by me before. It's confusing but I want to explore it. I hope you agree."
You weren't entirely sure what that meant but you careful opened the box in front of you. Inside was all of your favorite things. Your favorite movie, snacks, plushie of your favorite animal. Then, in the very bottom lay a white card neatly decorated. In neat cursive handwriting it asked "Will you go out with me?"
Shock spiked through you. Alana's face never changed from a wide expectant grin. She was waiting your answer with enough confidence to run the world. You felt a smile fall on your lips and you couldn't help but chuckle out a "I would be honored."
