I hope you like it, Emily! Sorry it took so long, I was on vacation 😅
This is Emily x Evan!

The first day at a new school is nerve racking for anyone, especially when you're moving to a completely different part of the country. Emily had to pack up and leave all of her friends in the town she grew up in. To put it simply, she wasn't very excited about the change.

The school itself was so much bigger then what she was used to. It was almost guaranteed that she would get lost more than a few times in her travels between classes. Her new schedule looked like a puzzle she had to decipher. It all seemed way over complicated.

She approached the main doors keeping her head low. Emily didn't want to make it abundantly clear she was new. Maybe if she could blend in, her day may actually be less painful than she's thinking it will be.

She traced the locker numbers until she found hers. It was on the end, probably because she's not entering school on the first day, she was just thrown in wherever they had room. Emily didn't mind though, it was out of everyone's way.

After fighting to open her locker for a few minutes, it finally popped open. A clean, empty locker revealed itself. Emily emptied out her backpack, and set up the rest of her locker as she desired. It actually looked really cute.

Then, to Emily's dismay, the bell rang leaving her to watch everyone around her scurry off to their assigned classrooms. Emily fidgeted with her schedule trying to quickly find her first period. It said the teachers name and what they taught, but not where the room was located.

"Great" Emily thought to herself. Here she is, going to be late on her very first day. Way to NOT bring attention to yourself.

Emily scrambled in a random direction hoping she would stumble across the right room. The search seemed hopeless, and panic started to rise in her chest. She's now VERY late for her first class. Emily couldn't help but start thinking about how she's going to get detention.

In her panic frenzy, Emily ran full speed into another person. She didn't get a good look at them until her head finally stopped spinning from the impact. It was a blonde boy, he looked to be overly nervous judging by his fidgets.

"I'm so sorry!" Emily seemed to yell. She didn't mean to come off so aggressive, it just sort of happened due to her being so frazzled.

The boy kept trying to say...something. But every time he would start a sentence, he'd stutter himself back to a shaky silence.

"I'm Emily." Emily finally said. She knew she needed to be the one to make the first move at attempting conversation. After all, maybe he could help her find her class.

"I-I-I'm Evan." The boy finally got out. Emily couldn't help but find the glimmer in his blue eyes adorable. She knew immediately she wanted to get to know him a little more.

"Hi Evan! It's so...so cool to meet you." If Emily wouldn't have been stunned by Evan's adorable nervousness, she would've found her statement creepy and insanely awkward. However, she seemed to have been unable to feel anything but weightless. "I was wondering...do you happen to know where Mr Carls classroom is? I'm a little lost..." Emily sheepishly admitted.

Evan's eyes widened. He nodded slightly and stood up, leaving a hand out for Emily to take. He lifted her from the ground and stuttered out. "I Uh...I actually h-have him t-too."

Emily couldn't help but smile. She let Evan lead her off to the classroom they were assigned.

"Evan! What in the world?!" Emily laughed so hard she almost flipped herself over in her chair.

"W-What?! H-How was I supposed to know it was gonna do that?!" Evan laughed too. His shirt was now completely covered in chocolate syrup. Evan had squeezed the bottle to hard and it erupted in chocolate going everywhere.

Emily laughed again and stood from her spot on the couch. She walked to Evan and kissed his cheek. "Mmm! Not bad!" She said kissing the chocolate off.

"Hey T-Thanks!" Evan chuckled.

Emily loved how Evan could be his true self around her. Emily's mind would often trace back to that first day at a new school. She was the helpless new student and Evan was there to rescue her. She couldn't be more grateful. Now she has the sweetest boyfriend on the planet.
