Chapter One
"Brennan stop it." I said laughing at my one and only friend Brennan as he goofed off with me in the library," you're gonna' get us in trouble!"
"Nuh uh!" He disagreed," 'librarian will never find out that I wrote 'Jennifer is a vampire' on the wall." There was a long pause between him and I. "...What?" I asked with a flush of embarrassment running through my body. He stopped smiling. "Brennan, you wrote that?!" He started to frown. " I-I have to... go." He said trying to slip passed me. But I quickly grabbed his hand and turned him around. I was going to say something but the morning bell had interrupted my breath for my sentence. He let go of my hand and walked to his first academic. Alone.
Brennan had been one of those cool kids that hung out with everybody, but got in trouble everyday. With his deep blue eyes, and his black flippy hair, no boy could get any hotter than that. He was captain of the school's football team and would go out with all the cheerleaders. But he'd never forget about me. I was kind of the opposite of what he was. I'm some gothic outcast vampire with only one friend. Him. He'd never leave me out of anything. If he could, he'd rather spend the weekends with me instead of going with all his other friends to a party.
I sat in my first period class (science), paid no attention to Mr. Hickenson, and did nothing but stared at my most beloved, and gorgeous friend. He held his pencil up to his mouth using both hands and chewed on the eraser with a confused look a crossed his face. His adorable eyes sparkled like puppy eyes up at the whiteboard. Every single thing he did was so sexy. He was to die for. "Get to your lab partners." Commanded Mr. Hickenson. My eyes darted right for Brennan. He got up from his chair, and sat right next to me. He was doing nothing but smiling like an idiot right at me. "Hey babe- I mean Jennifer." His cheeks turned red as he corrected himself. "You're cute." I say wanting to kiss his lips so badly. By the look he gave me in his eyes, I could tell he wanted to do the same to me.
"So what do we have to do again?" I asked changing our subject. I lost interest once he re- me the directions and zoned completely out daydreaming upon him. "Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...blah, blah, blah." Was all I heard coming out of his perfectly shaped lips. 2 minutes later, he had stopped. I woke up from my daydream. "Did you get all that?" He asked cracking a smile. I smiled back nodding my head lying to him. There was an awkward silence between us for awhile. He leaned over and planted a cute, little kiss on my left cheek. My face flushed with red. "I'm sorry." He said. I looked over at him."For what, Brenny?"
"The kiss." He said humiliated of himself. "No." I said," don't be. It was really sweet of you, Brennan. You're too cute. And I mean that."
"Aww, thanks, Jen." He said blushing, " hey, would you want to...want to..."
"Want to what?" I asked. "Would you want to go see a movie with me tonight? I can pick you up if you don't have a ride." He finished. I felt like I was going to break a sweat answering this question. I always wanted to date him. "Uhh... uhhh... s-sure!" I say being a nervous wreck. "I'm bringing a couple of my friends." He said,"if you don't mind." Dang it. "Oh." I said," no, no I don't mind."
"cool." He said," movie starts at 8. I'll be over at your house 20 minutes before. Okay?" The bell rang so he got up from the chair next to me and patted my back.
