"I-I don't know." I said with a sigh. "What?" He asked," I am." He looked over at me. Totally distracted when he should have been focusing on the road. "Brennan." I said focus." He then looked straight ahead but still was daydreaming or heavily thinking or what not. "Brennan!" I called. He still was in a distracted focus. He drove through a red light right when a tractor trailer was making a turn. "BRENNAN!!" I screamed. At the last second, Brennan woke up from his daydreaming and slammed on the breaks. But it was too late. He collided into the truck's trailer making the car flip and the truck to lose it's trailer. I felt the roof of the car smash against my back and before I knew it Everything went pitch black. I blacked out.

I woke up seeing flashing blue and red lights. I climbed out the broken window hoping to see Brennan okay. He was nowhere to be seen. I saw two cops standing together both with clipboards . Maybe they know. I thought. I ran up to the one. "He-hey officer?" He stopped with his talking and looked at me. "Yes?" He said,"what's the matter?"

"Uhhh... uhh..." I stuttered," is Brennan okay??" He looked confused. "Brennan?" He asked," oh you mean that boy who was driving the car?" I nodded my head waiting anxiously for his response. He began to frown once he saw the horrible look on my face. He slowly and gently shook his head. "He's in the ambulance. With major injuries." I began to cry. Feeling the burn in my eyes I let the tears drip down my face like rain. "Like what?" I asked. "He banged his head hard against the steering wheel and he might have brain tumor." More tears dripped out off my eyes like if a glass of water was spilt in my eyes and it was all dripping down on my face. "I'm sorry." Said the cop."But they'll try their best to do what they can." He patted my shoulder and walked away.

I dropped to my knees feeling so empty. My tears soaked into my sleeves. I laid down on my stomach just hoping some car or truck would just run me over and wake me up from this nightmare. I heard the ambulance doors shut so I looked over to see it make it's way to the hospital. Taking steps on the sidewalk, I had to make my way back over to the hospital. "Hey..." Called a cop. I turned around," do you need a ride?"
