Infinity Guardian

Chapter 11: Revealed

Infinity Guardian is exploded, the soldiers gasp. It looks like all is lost, the moral is broken. The Americans celebrate. But then the smoke clears. He hovers with shattered armor.

 Fear strikes the Americans as a grin a appears on his face.
"I warned you!" Infinity Guardian reminds them.
The Americans remain in a frozen state of fear. Truly terrified.
He glows neon blue and explodes with beams of blue, obliterating the Americans.
The soldiers cheer. A turret turns on Infinity Guardian. It fires an electrical net at him. He is tasered and falls entangled to the ground.

The EHRR charge with fury at the turrets and drones. The defenders fight back picking off hundreds but are easily overwhelmed.

Then there is a huge explosion which sends the soldiers flying like they'd been shot out of cannons.

The scientist man takes them through a labyrinth of corridors. With a sinister looking old wooden door at the end.

The door flies open spookily like there is a ghost. The scientist cowers. A cloaked figure suddenly appears hovering in the doorway. The corridor suddenly felt extremely cold like there was a cold chill up everyone's spines.

"Chibwe I was looking forward to seeing you again and... Bioseus I was expecting you." Says the cloaked figure in an immensely creepy and sinister voice. "Leave Jenson!" The intimidating figure orders. 

Jenson runs as fast as he can go and is out of site in seconds.

"How..." Asks Bioseus but is interrupted by Metallic.

"You have come to an end old man." Metallic announces. He immediately opens fire.

The bullets stop still mid air. The then drop to the floor. The gun flies out of Metallic's hands.

The Techno Wizard takes what looks like a wand out of his jet black cloak. "I am disappointed Chibwe" It says as a an translucent bolt of missile flies out of the wand and sends Metallic flying.

Bioseus fires red energy out of his hand which hits the wand. The Wizards black glove burns revealing pale scarred skin underneath. The wand hits the wall and a tube connecting the wand to his hand is torn sending lighting bolts around the corridor. The wand seems otherwise undamaged. The mask of a face looks sternly at Bioseus who finds himself lifted off the ground.

"When will the EHRR learn?" Techno Wizard asks aloud.

Kyela pounces to Infinity Guardian's aid removing the net from him. They glance up to see the gargantuan explosion. Out of the smoke emerges a crimson figure with an armoured claw for a right hand. The figure wears a red armour suit. She has a helmet in her left arm.

"Traitors!" She shouts. "The Techno Wizard gave us gifts and you spit in his face! Prepare for the wrath of Crimson Claw!" She announces. She puts her helmet on. She lifts an injured soldier from the ground. She lifts them by the neck with her claw. Blood drips from his neck as the razor sharp claw digs in. "This is what happens to traitors!" She announces as she chops his head clean off. "Who's next?"

Her army pours out of the hole in the wall. They are not drones but other experimented on people. Their bloodthirsty fury breaks the ranks of the EHRR.

Hand-Eye sees the extravagant entrance of Crimson Claw as an opportunity to attack her in the open. She lifts her sniper rifle and hits her dead in the chest. However her Armour seems to protect her sufficiently. Crimson Claw seems to spot her attacker immediately. She sprints through the crowd taking out soldiers on the way.

Even wearing a bright red outfit she moves too fast and cleverly for Hand-Eye to get a shot on the approach. It was too risky to accidentally friendly fire. As Infinity Guardian gets his bearings. Kyela intercepts Crimson Claw.

Kyela shoots Crimson Claw point blank. But the bullet bounces of only scratching the paint layer. Crimson Claw blasts Kyela with a red energy blast from the claw.

Hand-Eye lifts a rocket launcher. She fires.

It hits Crimson Claw directly which pierces her armour sending her to the ground. Shrapnel in her skin causes a trickle of blood to pour out of her open wound like a small river. But she stands up again.

Bioseus is chucked into a wall. Metallic charges at Techno Wizard while he's distracted. Metallic now has a new plate of metal where the energy bolt hit him. He punches Techno Wizard with such force it knocks him off balance.  He begins pounding him.

"Why do you feel such aggressive anger towards me?" Techno Wizard asks Metallic.

"You caused us pain. Not all your test subjects survived did they?" He shouts in fury.

"But I have you great gifts. I have made you the physical representation of pain making you stronger." He explains back.

Techno Wizard levitates metal bars from the other room and pushes Metallic back against the wall.

"If I can't hurt you I will imprison you" He says with determination.

The metal bars twist round into u shapes. As metallic involuntarily holds up his hands the bars fly into the wall with extreme force trapping Metallic's hands, feet and neck. He tries to break free but fails. Techno Wizard faces Metallic's special ops strike force.

Crimson Claw goes to finish off Kyela. Hand-Eye begins running to try to save Kyela knowing that she won't make it. Crimson holds her razer sharp claw high ready to kill Kyela. She sends the claw down to seal Kyela's fate. Hand-Eye stops dead. In the last millisecond the claw is cleanly sliced off by a brilliant blue energy. Absolutely astonished, Crimson Claw stands facing none other than Infinity Guardian himself.

He grabs her with his left hand and sends her flying past the ongoing battle through the wall of the facility.

In a display of lights and supposed "spells" Techno Wizard takes out the EHRR's crème de la crème of warriors like an angry child stepping on ants for fun. His man-made mystical magic was proven to be unstoppably awesome.

Bioseus gets back up, determination in his eyes. He presses a button on his suit and the metal plates shift around. He then ignites his sword and frees the struggling Metallic. He turns to Techno Wizard with his left arm in font of him creating a red sparking energy shield. As Techno Wizard send a barrage of energy blasts at him he continues to approach.

Bioseus hacks and slashes at Techno Wizard turning his robe into shreds and revealing the bulky plates beneath entangled in wiring. Sparks, smoke and bursts of energy are released but Bioseus persists until a huge explosion from the suit sends them both flying. Metallic stands strong. He begins smashing at Techno Wizard. Bioseus gets to his feet, his armour damaged. He watches Metallic let his anger out on Techno Wizard. Metallic crumples Techno Wizard's sinister mask revealing a familiar withered old face.

Crimson Claw removes the rubble from her and groans. She had sustained some near fatal injuries, luckily her armour was very well designed. She removes her helmet revealing her youthful brunette face. But her face is scarred and she had blood pouring out of her wounds.
"Activate Project Bicen!" She shouts through a communicator she removed it from her helmet.
"Affirmative" replies someone on the other end.
Crimson Claw smirks and steps to the side. She grabs handgun from a soldier close by and knock them out. She looks over the battle field.
"Release the beast!" She shouts over the comms.
The wall close by is disintegrated by a gargantuan super-heated laser beam. The Bicen Roars! It the metallic head of a bull with an exposed ludicrously muscular chest and metal hooved legs. It is holding a large laser gun, bigger than 8 ft long. The beast looms a impressive 12 ft and as wide as a double door. It unleashes armageddon on the army with it's powerful weapon, vaporizing hundreds on each side unfortunate enough to be taken by the laser. Many of Techo Wizard's mutants and drones retreat to shoot from beside Bicen and Crimson Claw to avoid the onslaught. Infinity Guardian flies in front of the laser to block it. Kyela and Hand-Eye take cover and attempt to flank The Bicen.

Bioseus stares at the old man in astonishment. "Dr Talc!" He gasps in a muttering disbelief.
