The remaining Infinity Force + Metallic board the space station. They are greeted by Empathy who congratulates them on another successful mission. Vannessa shows Metallic around the compound. Bioseus and Infinity Guardian return to their room.
"You did good out there." John tells Bioseus
"I let Talc escape." Replies Bioseus hung in sorrow
"Talc." Asks John while very confused
"Techno Wizard was Talc." Bioseus confirms
"No way!" John replies
Bioseus continues to look down downheartedly.
"I love you." John tells Bioseus as they lovingly embrace.
Metallic is astonished by the confusion of formal medieval like clothing mixed with super advanced technology as well as sword. He meets many commanders and fellow Infinity Force members. Empathy asks him a few casual questions before he settles in. Empathy is captivated by his uncanny near imperishable metal body. He ultimately excepts Metallic into the group with open arms.
"I'm going to see how Metallic is getting on." Bioseus says as he excuses himself after a while.
Metallic was soaking in his surroundings in his new room.
"This place is amazing!" Metallic tells Bioseus as he enters. "Look I'm sorry that I stopped you killing Talc." He apologises.
"No you were right." Bioseus acknowledges.
"You would feel worse if you'd murdered him." Metallic comforts him with.
"Very true." Was all Bioseus could reply with.
John was stuck in thought. Why was there always pain when he, The Infinity Guardian, intervened. Pain, suffering and destruction. What was he doing wrong?
"It's not you who's doing it wrong." A voice states to John.
"Who are you?" John asks out loud.
Blue energy in the air wisps around coming together to form a figure wearing shining knight-like platemail with a well groomed beard and short hair. John instantly notices a similar Infinoguard on his belt only with a smaller grip more like a long sword than a bastard sword. The incantations were identical however.
"I am Magnus Clentinus, the second Infinity Guardian, you must be John, the third Infinity Guardian." Magnus tells him.
"I am, but how are you here." John asks in amazement.
"Somehow after hundreds of year of nothingness, with my particles floating in the void, I have been reformed much unlike my previous mortal form." He replies explaining as well as he can "I have been watching you since you gained the gift."
"So why are you here." John asks back.
"The Infinity Court and Empathy are doing it wrong, their intentions are, potentially unintentionally, corrupt." He answers calmly.
"That's impossible!" John exclaims with passion.
"I too found it hard to believe but after many years of pondering it is the truth. Good and Evil are ultimately conditional and opinionated. There is not such thing as pure of heart, it is only decided by the biased views of the blade. Alexander realised this which makes him stronger than us both! I only realised too late, I beg you not face a similar fate! This is the reason you cause harm and suffering due the distorted view of good. To be a true hero you must be selfless and do as much as you can to help. If you ignore me the universe may be doomed!" Magnus tells John with an ominous sense of importance. He then evaporates into the air once more.
