FP tried to avoid walking into Hermione, Fred or Alice the next days of school, which was quite impossible when he had classes with them most of the day. The three of them knew they screwed up so they would give him the time to calm down. Hermione was taking it the hardest. She felt like she betrayed his trust, and to her that meant everything.

She didn't have much family she cared about besides her grandma so her friend were everything to her. She couldn't lose FP over this and she felt like she needed to do a big gesture to make things up to him. Fred assured her that it would be fine and that he just needed to cool off, but Hermione wasn't so sure about that. He wasn't open at all about his Serpent business and she knew that he would never talk about it again with her or Fred or Alice for that matter.

Fred had noticed that Alice had been cold to him these days too. She just had the same kind of temper as FP, but he had thought she would have calmed down by now, but it didn't seem like it. She was grabbing some books out of her locker when Fred walked over to her.

''Are you going to talk to me again or not?'' He said, folding his arms together. He knew being sweet to her wasn't always the solution. Had apologized for their stupid mission over and over again but most of the time that just didn't work with her. Alice was his best friend but he was done with her acting so cold. She had agreed to go with them so it wasn't only his fault.

''Maybe.'' She said without looking at him, and closed her locker. She wanted to walk away towards her classroom because she was done looking at him. Fred sighed and looked at the girl walking away. ''I apologized, okay? I'm sorry, Alice. I really am.'' He yelled through the hall, so she had to turn around and walk over to him again if she didn't want any attention towards their conversation.

When she was real close to his face he could see that she was hurt. He could see his own reflection in her watery eyes and at that moment all he wanted to do is embrace her, but that would be a wrong move. ''For what did you apologize, Fred? I don't care that Penny punched me. I care about the fact that you told Hermione and FP about what happened when you swore you wouldn't do that.'' Her voice broke, and he knew he had betrayed her by telling his friends about her and Hal.

He felt guilty about the fact that it hadn't even accrued  to him that that was what she was mad about, but deep down he knew he fucked up with his. It felt like the right call because at least she and FP were talking again, but it wasn't his place to tell them. She had to, if she wanted too. He looked into her blue eyes and saw that she was fighting against her tears.

''You are right, that wasn't my place. I just wanted to help you.'' His voice was full of guilt and Alice knew he meant what he said. For some reason she was never able to be mad at Fred for that long. Ignoring him those last days was one the hardest thing she ever had to do because she told him everything.

''I just don't want everybody to know. Rumours are spreading fast enough. Hal made a lot of effort the last week and we're okay now.'' She said a little more softer than before. Fred's heart broke a little when he heard that she actually was giving him another chance after what he did to her, but it wasn't his choice.

''I just want to forget it and move on.'' She whispered quietly. Fred knew he had no other choice than just agree with her. It was her life after all, but he promised himself that he would keep checking up on her, making sure Hal wouldn't pull off something like that again.

Fred grabbed her shoulders so she had to look him in the eyes. ''If he ever does something like this to you again, I'll rip his head off.'' He said so serious that he made her chuckle. She wrapped her arms firmly around him. Even if it was just a few days, she had missed hugging him and hanging around with him.
