Falice & Fredmione - A web of lies

Alice's head was pounding and she had to fight to open her eyes. Except for the tiny lamp on the ceiling there wasn't much light. She had never been this dizzy before and her eyes couldn't register where she was. Alice flinched but moving her left eye lid hurt, so she tried to keep that one closed.

There was silhouette of someone but she couldn't quit make out who it was. She moaned because the pain in her head just go worse and worse. She wanted to touch her eye to feel if she was bleeding but then she noticed that her arms were tied around a chair, just as her feet were.

She didn't have much energy but nevertheless she tried to break free from the grip she was in. The person who silhouette she was seeing now stepped inside the tiny light there what was pointed on her.

''So, you woke up?'' Alice opened her eyes and looked directly into the ones of the woman she hated the most: Penny Peabody. Now her eyes were used to the light and she fully was woken up she tried to get rid of the ties that were holding her hands together.

''Yeah, you better stop trying, Alice.'' Penny scoffed, and fiddled with her nails. Alice wasn't even afraid, all she felt was anger towards the woman standing in front of her. She pressed her nails into the palm of her hand to release some of her frustration.

''What do you want from me, Penny?'' Alice asked as calmly as possible, but the look on her face betrayed the way she really felt. The woman walked over to her and knelt in front of the chair where Alice was tied up to.

''I don't need anything from you, but from your beloved boyfriend.'' Penny laughed. Alice didn't get it, what could she possibly want from him. As far as she was concerned Hal hadn't strings towards the Serpents. He was literally the last person on earth to do business with them.

''From Hal?'' Alice asked more to herself than to Penny, who started laughing. ''I think we both know I wasn't talking about him. I'm talking about FP Jones. You are his soft spot, honey.'' Alice swallowed away the tears that were stuck in her throat. She didn't want to hear those words, even though she knew they were true.

''He's in charge of your life right now, I hope you trust him enough.'' Alice knew that FP wouldn't harm a hear on her body, but after she turned him down again she wasn't so sure anymore. He opened up to her, kissed her like he had never kissed her before to let his heart get crushed again. But if FP wasn't going to look for her Hal would. She would get out here safely and Penny would get arrested, she told herself.

Fred walked over to Hermione, FP and Hal when he saw them standing at their lockers. He was supposed to pick Alice up this morning but her mother told her that she was probably at Hal's place. Normally Alice always texted where she was, but this morning she hadn't. He noticed that she wasn't standing with her boyfriend and her friends.

''Hal, have you seen Alice?'' He asked worried. Hal grabbed the last book he needed for his history class and then shut his locker. ''No, she was staying with her mom. Why?'' He asked calmly because he hadn't noticed the worried look on Fred's face.

Fred immediately sensed that something was wrong when Hal confirmed that she hadn't been staying with him last night. Alice always texted him were she was staying if he was supposed to pick her up, and now he hadn't even heard from her in over twenty-four hours.

''Nothing. Just wanted to ask her something.'' Fred brushed him off, because he didn't want to let Hal worry yet, not if he wasn't sure that there was indeed something happening to her. He gave him a slight smile and walked over to the class he was supposed to be.

''Has any of you seen Alice after the party?'' Hermione and FP shared a looked and shook their head after that. Fred sighed and got with his hands through his dark locks. ''Her mom hasn't either.'' Hermione saw that her boyfriend was worried and grabbed his hands to calm him down.
