Lexie's POV

I'm still reallt annoyed about the fact that Louis and Scarlett are going out. She knows Ive fancied him for literally ever!!! It's wired though, me and scar have never had an arguement. But this is to much. I see them walking towards me, hand in hand. I suddenly feel a monster roar inside me. Anger bubbles up from the depths of my stomach. I walk over, give Louis a quick nod and ask scar if we can have a word.  

She nods worriedly and follows me slowly to the empty Maths classroom.  

" I can't believe your going out with Louis!!!!!!!!!" I screech at her. 

" what..... What do you mean????" she said bemusedly. 

" what do I mean????????? I'll tell you what I mean!!! You know I've fancied Louis since........ Forever and now you go and snog him and go out with him!!!!!! And there I was thinking that we were best friends!!!!" 

" lex, we are best friends..."  

"Don't you 'lex' me!!! " I shout at her, I'm so angry I could burst. 

" fine, Lexie price... Sometimes people will love other people than you!!!! Think of Nath!!! He only asked you out to get closer to lula!!!"  

I stop suddenly. I can feel the anger bubbling right over the surface. 

" thanks for reminding me!!!!! Nobody has ever fancied me!!! They've always liked you or lula and I'm fed up!!!!" 

" we'll actually, if you'd been paying attention to other people apart from Lou, then you might have noticed that actuall Harry has been trying to get your attention all week!!!!!! Seriously lex, I think he likes you but you've been to conceited to realise!!!!!!"

This time I really stop. The anger dies down and in its place comes a feeling of guilt. So Harry does like me. I think of his face and I suddenly realise how selfish I've been.  

" scar, I'm so sorry! I know I've been selfish and horrible." I stutter quietly 

"it's ok! So what about me and Louis?" she asks, 

" we'll........ I hope you get your happy ever after that you've been dreaming of all your life with him!!! And I mean it!" 

She jumps on me and I hug her back, I knew we'd make friends again!!! 

" well, you go and see your boyfriend!! Meanwhile, I need to go and talk to someone else!!" I say,  

" yeah, good luck." 

" thanks!!"

I find Harry sitting on my favourite bench in the poppy field. I walk over to him and as I sit down he looks up.  

" hi." I say 

" hey." he mutters back. 

" look, I know this is all sudden but........ Well............. Ive been taking to Scarlett and you know that she and Louis are... Yeah..... And she told me about what you said to Louis and I realised, I thought I loved Louis but......... I might actually love someone else.............. You."  

He looks up suddenly. I suddenly realise how beautiful he was. 

" really???" he says. 

" yep!! " 

He grins. I grin back and I suddenly feel that feeling in my stomach, not anger but butterflies. I never get flustered around boys, as I said before, but I think it's only when your looking at your true love that you get nervous! I realise he's got closer but I don't back away. I lean in closer and are lips almost touch. He's looking shocked but I grin again and we kiss.  

I feel the rain hammering down on me but I don't care. I feel free and happy again. I feel his hand curl round my waist and we break apart. I put my arms around his neck and give him a big bear hug. We end up laughing and we can't stop!! We laugh and laugh and laugh until, finally, he pulls of his jacket and tucks it around my body.  

Then, I stand up. I grab his hand and we run across the field, in the pouring rain. Nothing could make me happier than this. We start to laugh again as we make our way back to the canteen. I know I must be a total wreckage. I can feel the mascara cascading down my face but I couldn't care less.  

We walked in holding hands. Everyone stared as we ran to Louis and Scarlett. 

" so," Louis says "are you to............ Well .......... Dating????" 

" oh yeah I forgot about that bit!! Lexie, will you go out with me?? " he says. 

" well..... Go on then!!!" I say.  

We laugh again, me, Harry,Louis and scar. I grin at Harry and he squeezes my hand. 

" well shall we go for lunch????" Louis asks Scarlett. 

" yes but not without these two!!" she replies 

I grin at her and say jokingly, " it'll be like a double date!! Lol!! "  

And we walk off hand in hand.

At nandos Harry and Louis go off to buy lunch and I scoot over to sit by Scarlett. 

" thanks scar!!" I say. 

" what for???" she says inquiringly. 

" for making me realise what I really need!!"  

I make the "cheesy" hand gesture which me and scar have had since year two and she laughs. 

"no problemo!!" she says! (another of our sayings!!)  

The boys come back with the food and we eat happily. As I slurp my lemonade Harry takes hold of my hand. I squeeze it back. I'm sure I'll be very happy from now!!!
