Sylvia had already been taken to the morgue but you could still imagine how the body would have been lain due to the chalk outline and the pooled blood around where the neck would have been. People were scattered everywhere whether they were citizens behind the yellow tape hustling and bustling to see the drama or workers taking pictures and notes of the crime scene. I could hear footsteps come up behind me, they landed next to me.

Monty stood beside me. "A stab wound to the neck." He said.

"Any CCTV?"

"No not around here but some around town had recorded Sylvia who seemed in a rush to be somewhere. She was holding and a camera -neither objects, though- were found near Sylvia when she was found dead."

"Was she being chased, do you think?"

"It really didn't look like it. Sylvia was happily  skipping at some points towards her end."

*buzz buzz buzz*

Monty reached into his leather satchel and whipped out a phone. "Another one? Where?" He pushed the phone back into his bag. "A murder." Monty said.

"Another one? Now?" Monty nodded. "We can take my car." We snuck under the yellow tap and started to dash towards my car. "Where?" I turned the ignition.

"Just around the corner, Everdeen Green and Park."

We got there in no time. As we approached the body I could already see it was a female with a stab wound to the neck and unknown to me. Fewer workers that time and much fewer citizens watching.

My Boatsy was there as well and most of the other times throughout the week. There were more murders all female. You could tell it was the same killer due to to the number of bodies he or she got through in a week and because it was the same knife jab to the jugular. This mad man or woman was going for the kill every time.
