At this time, she was hyper ventilating and if not for Justin's reappearance, she probably would have been stuck in her little trance. "Are you okay?" This time she could sense the doubt in the way he felt. The question sounded more like "I know you're hiding something and you better spit it out." She nodded. "Yeah! Let's go."

Although a bit doubtful, he took her hand and the two walked hand in hand outside. Their bodies touched but their individual minds coasted to different places. While Shandell was thinking of her next move-well Sean's next move, her companion hoped they would not clash into Michelle and Christian because god knows Michelle is a woman without shame and may probably temp him again.

"Hello." He heard his wife greet. He must have been buried deep in his thoughts because they were now in the auditorium where the play was to take place. Shandell left his hand to hug Ronan and his wide and he did the same. "Good to see you, my friend." Said Ronan as they shook. Justin managed a tight smile.

As Ronan took a step back to his wife, he gave Justin a look. "I know you Justin, you hate these types of plays. I can only imagine what pushed you to buy the tickets." He pointed out. Justin looked from his wife then back at Ronan with a smirk drawn on his lips. What he said was the truth the only difference was this whole thing was his smart safe. "I just thought this was the perfect date." He responded. "By the way, my lady complains I hardly do these things with her."

"I don't complain." Shandell defended as she embraced his arm. Her comment made him snicker. "Yeah reminding S about ten times a day is not complaining at all." He joked and the two laughed while his wife hid her embarrassment behind his hand. They spent a couple of minutes chit chatting here and there, some of the topics were of course new to Shandell mainly because during the time she and Justin dated, she didn't really attend these functions with him. A few events, sure but she didn't want to appear to be with him because of the exposure he could give her. She was after all, the poorer black woman and no matter how much she hated to say or think about it, the race card always played a role in how some people thought. Not to say there weren't black people in the "elite circle". The judgement was only different when the new recruit into the circle was a black woman. She was a black woman.

Soon enough, they had to take their seats for the play to begin. Justin and Shandell had front seat on top while Nora and Ronan, three rows behind. Justin looks at the empty seat at his left side but before he had time to wonder who was to fill it, a figure, clothed in forest green, see-through, crystal material, filled the seat. The owner's perfume was familiar to him and even before he looked at the culprit, he knew it could only be one person; Michelle. She greeted with a wide seductive smile as she sat beside him.

"Hello." She greeted, catching Shandell's eye. Internally she rolled her eyes but only to appear mature, Shandell smiled back. "Hey. Hi, Cristian!" She greeted both of them.

The genuine way Cristian responded to her changed when he spoke to her husband. Shandell managed to hide her giggle. Be fore they got married, she knew Cristian and Justin where archenemies but since they arrived on the cruise, after their wedding, she realized, the dislike between them was not as serious as the media put it. They were like two children who didn't want to share the same toy.

Justin didn't even acknowledge him-or his wife. Call it pettiness or whatever, he prayed he would not run into Michelle but since that prayer was not answered, he was going to do whatever he could to avoid her even if it meant pretending, she was not around. Unintentionally, his uneasy feelings showed on his face and Shandell noticed. She held his hand and asked, "Are you okay?"
