"it's you, again."
naeun heaves out a sigh, as jimin enters the studio to her surprise. jimin chuckles, "tired of me already?"
she sends him a quick glare, "i've dealt with your petty ass all day, park. what else would you be thinking?"
jimin sets his stuff over to the side, stopping naeun's music abruptly. the room echoes with silence, as they meet eyes through the mirror.
he smirks, "that you'd be excited to see your sexy duet partner."
naeun mimics a vomit, as jimin cackles at her reaction. she looks at him with a disgusted expression, "never say that again, please. especially not with that...look."
she stands up, walking over to her speaker. noticing that her phone wasn't paired with it, she frowned at the boy standing near her.
"why did you turn off the music on my phone?"
jimin shrugs coyly, bringing out his phone. "hm, your music was boring. i wanted to change it up a bit this time."
he says bluntly, making naeun roll her eyes.
she walks back to the middle of the room, spreading her legs out into a middle split. jimin presses play on his phone, and the music begins.

jimin stands not too far from naeun, beginning to stretch his arms out. like last time, they both warmed up in silence.
it was strange how the two didn't mind being around each other for things like this. both of them were always the type to do extra practices alone, and refused to do it with anyone else.
it was strange for the both of them. but, for some reason, they never acknowledged that.
the slow, mellow music played in the background as the two did their respective warm ups. they both had a different routine, but the way their body moves and their flexibility was similar.
jimin wore long black shorts that complimented his legs, and a large black sweater with red lettering on the front. his jet black hair was slightly messy, with his bangs parted in the middle.
he always wore what was the most comfortable during his own practices, despite the fact he mostly performs in jeans or leather pants.
naeun on the other hand, wore her usual practice clothes. baggy addidas sweatpants, and a cropped t-shirt. most of the time she kept her hair up in a ponytail, but today she decided to just keep it down and flowy.
she never really noticed the discreet glances jimin would steal towards her at certain times.
the room was lit up by the dim lights above them, giving their faces a slight glow when they glanced at themselves in the mirror. the music matched the mood, as the moon barely shined through the windows.
shortly after a few minutes, naeun stood up, indicating she was finished with her warm up. she heads over to the corner of the room, grabbing a bottle of water.
she glances over at jimin, who was stretching out into a splits. she cracks into slight smile, chuckling to herself.
"you know, you're literally the only flexible guy on our dance team."
naeun comments, making jimin raise his eyebrows in surprise.
"really? i thought you had to be flexible to be on the team?" jimin questions, but naeun quickly shakes her head.
"no, not exactly. it's actually really hard to get on this team, so if that rule did apply, basically any dancer could be on this team if they wanted to."
naeun informs him, gulping down her water after. jimin nods, but begins to smirk, "right, so does that mean i'm one of the best of the best?"
he keeps his smirk on, as naeun stares back at him with a disgusted expression. she then scoffs, throwing her water bottle at him. "you cocky little asshole."
she curses, and jimin simply laughs in response. naeun picks up her phone, unlocking it and clicking her music app.
jimin looks over at her phone nosily, and naeun immediately notices, pulling her phone away from him. "hey, what do you think you're doing?"
jimin plasters a fake innocent look on his face, "nothing, haha. you're just being paranoid."
she sighs, "mind your own business, asshat. i'm trying to pick a song to freestyle to."
jimin frowns, tilting his head in confusion. "what are you freestyling for?" she gives him a look, "i don't know jimin, maybe it's cause it makes me a better dancer? i don't know!" she retorts sarcastically, before looking back at her phone, shaking her head.
"wow," jimin scoffs, amazed by her sassiness. "you really have an on-going attitude."
naeun snorts, "yeah, cause the only girls you know fall at your feet the second they see you."
jimin stares at her, leaning back smugly on the ballet barres behind him. "and you're saying you don't?"
his bold words take naeun aback, as she scoffs. "you must be insane if you think i'd ever fall at your feet; or anyone of that sort."
"hm, really?" he narrows his eyes at her, raising an eyebrow as she read her expression. however, naeun remained bold as she gave him a sly smirk.
"if anything, it's the other way around."
