Story Time II

I walk out the bedroom in my dress then running downstairs so we can leave immediately, "Hey babe?" I call out for my husband.

"Yeah?" He replies, walking out the kitchen to me, I watch him as he held our seven year old daughter, Katie in his hands. "You two ready to go?"

"We are." He replies then Katie smiles, "I'm finally seeing Uncle Ethan!"

"Yes, you are! Do you have your presents for Dylan and Grant?" I ask her, she nods and points to the bag on the floor.

I grab the bag and we all walk to the car hand in hand. Just one happy family visiting our friends for the holidays which is Christmas right now.

"It has been a year since we last saw each other! I can't believe it!" Ethan gasps, looking at the Grayson and me. I laugh, "I know! I know you missed me, Eth!"

"Oh, it was horrible being away from you!" Eth places a hand up to his forehead in distress. "Many years passed and you're still a drama queen, Ethan." I throw a pillow at him.

"At least I still maintain my beautiful hair." He flips his hair. I shake my head in disgust, looking at the tree I saw a familiar decoration. It was a heart shaped frame with a photo of the three of us holding my 1M gold balloons that Ethan bought. Gasping, I walk up to it and showed them the frame, "You kept it?"

"Yeah, why not?" Ethan shrugs, "It was an amazing moment for us!"

"What amazing moment?" We hear and saw Katie looking at us.

"Your mom was in her room with Grayson who was her boyfriend at that time. She was about to hit a million subscribers which is a huge deal to every youtuber ever! She even said a long speech to her subscribers after that! I also bought the balloons and the bouncy castle!" Ethan tells the story to my daughter. I laugh, taking her into my lap.

"I remember that day as if it was yesterday but before I hit a million Gray was about to say something to me but he couldn't finish cause I was busy screaming." I laugh, then turning to Gray, "what were you going to—?" I was cut off by a voice, "Katie?"

My husband appears on the living room who was looking for our daughter, then Katie laughs, "You didn't find me!"

"But I did, just right now." He walks over to us and engulfs Katie in his arms and places an arm over me then places a kiss on my forehead.

"Oh, sorry. Gray, what were you going to say to me at that time?" I continue, looking at him.

He looks at me with sad eyes before smiling at me and replying, "Oh, that was nothing. I don't really remember that was 8 years ago."

"Yeah, probably nothing." I laugh then Katie yells, "Time for presents!"

Then my husband and Katie went to the tree hand in hand as she starts giving our the presents to us. I look at Gray and smile at him, walking up to him and taking a seat beside him, "Merry Christmas, Gray." I hand him my present then he smiles, "Merry Christmas, love."
