"I have an announcement to make for our little, tranquil girl." Father stands up from the table, as their eyes turned to me —their only daughter in the family out of all my brothers.

"Should I be worried for this announcement?" I ask, then my parents stared at each other with frowns.

"I'm afraid that worried is not what you will all be feeling..." Mother intervenes and I frown, resting the kitchenware down on my plate.

"We made a deal with a company, which costed a marriage." Father announces, cheers erupts from the table. Until, Father continued to speak up again,"For they only have one child, that happens to be a man.
Y/N will be taking their child in hand for marriage."

"What, no! Against my will?" I object, placing my fists firmly down onto the table. My brother softly caress my hand with a frown.

"Honey, you must understand this." Mother's calming voice says, I groan backing away from the table.

"I understand, we need another company to loan some money for our company to come back up again. Yet, the price is a marriage for their only son." I cry out running back to my room with tears all the over my face. I grab my coat following my phone and wallet. Opening the window and climbing down to escape this incongruous family, I ran somewhere and ended up in a park.

"I can't believe it. I get it but if the price is your child's happiness and youth then don't." I thought to myself and saw someone over the swings.

Curiously, I walk over to the swings. It was a man, his head hanging low,"Excuse me, are you alright?"

He seems startled by my approach, he smiles and nods, yet, I didn't believe him. He had tears running down on his face.

"Family business and problems." He frowns and I nod, sitting down on the swing beside him,"you?"

"Existential crisis and family matter." I press my lips in a thin line. Then heard a faint sound and my eyes lighten up,"Ice cream truck!"

He seems to smile at my remark and ran for the truck with my trailing behind him. We bought ourselves Ice cream and sat on the bench not far away.

"Nothing that ice cream can't fix, huh?" I giggle, licking the popsicle I bought, he nods.

"I agree, it helps you get through." He laughs, wiping my mouth with a tissue and I crimson at his actions.

"I gotta go home, nice meeting you—" I stop and he chuckles,"Ethan."

"Nice to meet you, Ethan." I smiles at him.

"You two, Y/N." He returns as we part ways.
