James and Michelle continued to be friends. They became closer to each other day by day.

"So, what made you decide to be an Engineer?". "It's always been my dream to be one. Ever since I was a kid. How about you? Why Psychology?". "Because of my grandfather. He always had time for his friends and other people. I want to be like that. To help people, listen to their problems and offer my advice.". "But you're well-off. You can probably do some charity work or something, right?". "Yes, but, it's better if you could listen to their problems instead of just giving them food and clothes, right? It feel more rewarding seeing their happy faces because you listened to them.". "That's kind of corny, but you're right. Listening is always better tha just plain giving."

Their friendship bloomed in a matter of weeks. They spent time talking to each other, exchange texts messages, call each other from time to time. And sometimes, they would hang out just the two of them. One afternoon of September, while they were walking, they noticed an old lady trying to cross the street. "Hey, what's up? Is there a problem?" James asked. ". " It's just, that old lady. I don't think she can cross the street on her own.". "Do you want to go back and help her out?". "Is it ok? Won't you be late?". "Don't worry about it.", said James. "We are not in a hurry. Let's go back and help her."

Feeling happy for what they did, thetwo of them went back to school in high spirits. They both felt very glad andproud of what they did. "Wow! This lady is so interesting! I haven't metsomeone her age willing to go back and help an old lady out. She's somethingelse. I think I might have fallen in love with her."
