James and Michelle's relationship bloomed from the very beginning. They were both happy as well as their families. People who see them always have great things to say and they are glad that everything was going well. But every relationship has its problems and so was theirs. But none of them realized that the biggest obstacle they'll face is upon them.
One afternoon, while Michelle and James were together in James' dorm, Michelle noticed an old notebook on James' bed. After taking and looking at it, she realized that it was a journal. Written in the journal was James' thoughts before the two of them became a couple. She found some troubling notes in it that says things like being with someone else if they wouldn't work out. Seeing this, Michelle got furious and confronted James. Their argument went on for hours until Michelle decided to leave.
The next day, with both of themcalmed down, they decided to have a serious talk. They talked for hours andduring their talk, they realized something. They could and would never work outas a couple. "I love you, James. That's true. But let's face it. It's beenthree months but most of the time we argued. You and I both know we will neverwork out." Michelle said in a disappointed voice. "So, this is it, I guess. What do we do?" James asked. "Nothing." Michelle said. "We will part wayswithout bitterness towards each other and continue to be friends. It's not thathard, right?" James answered with a little hesitance. "Well, it won't be easybut we can make it." With their issues resolved, both of them decided to gohome. On their way home, they noticed that just like the night they became acouple, it was also a full moon. "Oh, moon! You must have witnessed so manysuccess, trials, and heartaches in this world. Just like that night, youwatched us be a couple. And now, you watched us part ways." James said to themoon as he was looking at it.
