"Rise and shine, sleepyhead! Time to face reality." Patrice said enthusiastically. "What are you excited about?" James asked in a confused voice. "I'm excited because my parents are coming to visit." Patrice bragged. "Really? It seems to me you're excited about my talk with Michelle." James said in a sarcastic voice. "That too, of course" Patrice said mockingly. With his mind prepared for what might happen, James set foot in his school that day with the feeling that he is carrying the whole world on his shoulders.
Due to their busy schedule, James and Michelle decided to have their talk that afternoon. "First of all, James, I want to apologize for leaving you at the store yesterday and my outburst on the phone. I was just so shocked." Michelle stated. "You don't have to worry about a thing. I understand." James responded. Michelle continued, "About what you said yesterday, you know..." Michelle was interrupted by James. "It's all true. Again, Michelle, I'm sorry for lying to you. I just really don't want to lose you in my life. This maybe too much to ask, but, can we give 'this' a chance?" James said. Michelle, despite being shocked at first, was able to get a grip of the situation after having thought of everything the night before. "I really like you too, James. Yes. I want to give 'this' a chance as well." With the two of them agreeing to give what they have a chance, Michelle and James both went home happy and it was written all over their faces.
James told his friends about what happened and they were all happy for him. The same goes for Michelle's sister who knew everything that happened that night. James and Michelle were exchanging text messages that whole night.
James decided to court Michelle. Toget her to know him more. This worked for Michelle because she also wanted toknow James better.
