As I munch away at my chicken and beef soup. Brynn walks in, and man is she spice, no, she is like piping hot. Brynn also saved my life so that makes her chances with me even better.
"Hi" Brynn sings. "Hello" I stutter back. She sits in the chair next to me. "Your name is Cannon, right?" She asks. "Yeah, and yours is Brynn," I respond.
I finish my soup. "I am going for a walk," I inform. I hope that she asks to come. As if on cue she asks, "Can I come along?" I stared at her in a daze. "Cannon, can I come along?" She repeats. "Uh, yeah sure." I respond. She laughs.
We walk into the sitting room, past the girls, and out the door. It is chilly outside. "Do you have a jacket?" She questions. "Yeah, it's inside. I don't need it," I lied. I need it like I need air. I just want her to see me as independent, that's all.
We walk down the dirt road, and the wind blows. Brynn's hair flows in the wind. "So where are you guys from?" She asks. "Well, Teagan, Kacey, and I are from Canada. Grayson's From America, and Rylee is from here," I smirked.
"Do you know what part of Germany Rylee is from?" She questions. "No" I respond. "Okay, cool," Brynn responds. "Yeah" I say.
Brynn casually reaches over and holds my hand. "I like you," I muttered. "I think I like you also," She replied. "That's interesting," I remark.
Turn around at a fork in the road, and walk the way back in complete silence.
"Want to be my girlfriend?" I blurt. "Sure" She responds. "Secret or not?" I question. "Secret, for the moment," She responds.
We walk up to the hut and release our hands. We enter a heated discussion.
