"We have to save as many of these kids as we can," I state. "But they are all over the world, there is no way that we can do that,"Grayson counters. "Teagan is right, we still have to try and help them," Kacey belted. "Plus that is she was chosen to lead us in the war.

Cannon and Brynn walk in. Cannon whispers something to Brynn, and they walk into the kitchen.

"It's the only way they would be safe. They could also help us," I snapped. "Teagan, I don't know if we could even pull this off," Rylee quaked. "But we have to at least try," I respond.

"It's like the starfish story," I added. "What's the starfish story?" Grayson asks. I tell them the starfish story.

"The tide is out on the beach, and on the beach there is a boy, and thousands of starfish. A man walks by the boy, and sees that he is throwing starfish. The man asks the boy what he is doing. The boy responds 'saving the starfish'. The man tells the boy that he can't change the world by saving a few starfish. The boy then picks up a starfish and throws it into the ocean. He says 'But I changed the world for that starfish'.

They all look at me. "Okay then, we go out and save as many starfish as we as we can," Rylee announces. "Does everyone else agree with me now?" I ask. They all nod. "Then it's settled. We leave the night after tomorrow to go find the kids," I added.

"There is one issue with that," Grayson states. "What is it?" Rylee asks. "We have no way of knowing where any of these kids are. Or anyway to get there fast enough." He informs.

All of a sudden, Cannon appears beside me. "Where the hell did you come from!" I exclaimed. "I guess I have a new rec," He remarks. "I can teleport."

Everyone in the room looks at him in awe. Grayson high fives him. "Pretty cool right?" Cannon smirks. "Great just what we need, a disappearing cannonball," Kacey jokes.

We all laugh. It feels so good to loosen up and relax. I wish it could actually stay this way. I know that it won't stay this way for long though. It never does anymore.

"Hey, that means Cannon could teleport us around to help find the kids," Grayson reports. "Yeah, that could work," I state.

Now all we have to do is wait for tomorrow night to come and hope everything works out the way we've planned.

Rylee walks over and sits on the couch beside me. I reach over to hold her hand, she doesn't let me hold her hand. Instead she lays on her back, her head in my lap.

Everyone else retreats to the kitchen to leave us alone

"I love you," She whispers. "I love you to Rylee," I whisper back. "I have to lay down, I'm really tired," I insist. She stands up and allows me to lay down. Rylee then squeezes onto the couch and lays with me.

I fall asleep, and she does the same.
