I really want to hurt this Tringer, but I know I need to interrogate it. Rylee is cradling my head as we hug. My knees feel weak, but I guess it makes sense considering I just thought five Tringers on my own.

"I love you so much," Rylee whines trying to hold back her tears. "I love you more," I state. Rylee pulls away from the hug and studies my face. I touch my lip, there is blood lots of blood. There is also blood coming from both of my nostrils and I have a large cut on the left corner of my forehead.

"We need to have Brynn look at you. To make sure the sickness hasn't come back," Rylee states. "Okay" I mutter. Rylee waves down Brynn. Brynn walks over and places her hands on my temples. "All clear of the illness," She chimes. I guess she is proud of herself for curing me.

Brynn looks over my face. "Teagan you do know that you've bitten straight through your lip, right? She asks. I shake my head. The pain has not kicked in yet, just the adrenaline from the battle.

Brynn covers the bottom half of my lip with her left hand. Her entire body glows as she heals me. Brynn then fixes my broken nose and heals the large oozing cut on my forehead.

"Where's my dad?" Brynn questions me. I look at her for a second. "He hasn't been around at all since you left, we were kind of hoping you'd know," I respond. "Great he has run off again," Brynn mumbles.

I leave it at that and walk indoors to wash up. "Want to shower with me?" I ask Rylee. "Hell yeah," She responds. This will be the first time she sees my body, it'll be the very first time she sees the scars my brother has given me.

I have a large scar down the right side of my stomach. It goes from my ribs to my hip. It will also be the first time she sees the scar slicing down my back in a diagonal line, and the burn scars I had given myself on the right side of my stomach.

I'm getting really nervous, I don't want her to see. Rylee sees right through me anyways. I told her about the abuse, but not exactly how bad. "What's on your mind?" She questions. I say nothing. I just take off my shirt and reveal the truth to her.

She hugged me. "Battle scars only make you hotter," She states. "You still love me," I respond. "I'll love you through anything," She confirms. "Now lets take a shower and you can talk after if you'd like," She insists. I nod and turn on the shower. We shower together.

After we clean ourselves, Rylee wraps me in a hug from behind. We stand there hugging for what felt very quick, but it was actually thirty minutes. "I need to get out of the shower now," I state.

We get out of the shower and dry off. "I don't have extra clothing. I can't wear my shirt it's drenched in sweat and blood stained," I claimed. Rylee hands me her hoodie she had on. "Wear this, maybe Brynn will loan us something to wear," Rylee states as she puts her crop top back on. We finish getting dressed and walk out of the vintage bathroom.

"Do you want to talk about the scars?" Rylee whispers in my ear. "No not yet," I respond. "That's okay," She replied. "I love you Teag," She chirps. "I love you Ry," I respond.

I want to talk to her about most of my scars, just not my burn ones, the ones I put there. I'm not ready yet. We walk into the kitchen with green counter tops. "Hey squirt," Kacey begins. "I'm so proud of you," She says. "Where is it?" I demand, I am referring to the Tringer. "In the basement around back tied to a post," Brynn responds.

I start to go outside, Rylee grabs my arm. I shrug her arm off and instantly feel horrible. "I'm sorry," I apologize. "Teagan it's okay, you're just tired and really stressed," Rylee speaks. She isn't wrong, but I don't have to take my feelings out on her.

"No it's not okay," I mutter as I walk out of the room. I walk outside and into the tree lines. I sink to the ground leaning on the trunk of a giant oak tree. Rylee followed me out. "You want to talk?" Rylee questioned me as she sits down next to me. She already knows the answer to her question.

"All I could think about all night was you. When I was fighting the Tringers, all I was thinking about was surviving them for you, if I didn't have you I might have let them kill me," I start sobbing. "Well it's a good thing that you still have me," Rylee states. "I guess I'm still here because of you," She adds.

"Do you want to talk about the scars?" She asks. "Yes" I mutter. "Go ahead whenever you're ready," Rylee insists. I take a deep breath and begin. "When I would sleep, my brother used to come into my bedroom and lift up my shirt. He has this hunting knife, he would use his knife to slice my body," I stuttered. Rylee hugs me.

"What are the other two, the smaller ones?" She asks. I look her in the eyes, I tear up. "A couple months ago, things in my house went bad, really fast. I was in so much pain from pretending like it was alright. I needed to see my pain," I quaked.

"Oh Teag, why didn't you come to me?" Rylee questions. "I know she was just trying to get under my skin, but my mother was always saying that no one even cares about my issues except her. But it's her that doesn't actually care," I start sobbing. Rylee holds me in a hug until I stop.

"I will love you through it, the good and bad. I promise." She states. I kiss her, she really does mean it when she says she loves me. It's like everyday Rylee gives me another reason to love her. I love her more than anything.

"Can we go and beat the guts out of that Tringer now?" I joked. "Sure, we shall do anything you'd like," Rylee responds. We stand up and walk out of the tree line and around the back of the house. We find two wooden doors going into the ground.

We enter to find a still knocked out Tringer, and Cannon supervising it. I slowly walk over to it, I have a really bad feeling about this. I ignore it.

I smack the Tringer across its face, it growls and wakes. "Give me some answers or I swear I will break every bone in your body, one by one," I demand. The Tringer snarls. "Never" It hissed. I grab its hand and snap the wrist so that it breaks. "Ugh!" The Tringer screeched.

"Why did you guys come?" I shout. "Because we have the power," The Tringer hisses. "Where is your base!" I order it to tell me. "I will never tell you," The Tringer roared. I grab its other wrist. "Okay then," I snap its wrist and break it.

"Fine, just stop breaking things!" The Tringer begs. "Alaska is where the main hole is, and they are sending more here," It hissed. "Thanks" I say. I grab the Tringers head and snap its scrawny neck. The Tringer is dead.
