I awake to Kacey rubbing my arm, Rylee has already left the couch and went into the kitchen. "I think I need to stay with you and Grayson," She spoke. "Why?" I question. "Because Grayson can't take care of you, I don't trust Gregor yet, and Brynn should go with Cannon and Rylee.
"Okay do whatever you want," I mutter. "Hey squirt, Rylee will be fine. She has Cannon and Brynn," Kacey comforts. She can tell how stressed I am.
"Lets go get some breakfast, Gregor made waffles," Kacey insists. "Okay" I respond. Kacey helps me to my feet and we walk into the kitchen.
"Looks great," I mumble. "Sure does," Grayson remarks as he digs into his waffle. "So you're feeling better?" I question Kacey. "No more flu?" I added. "No more flu," Kacey responds.
"Morning Teag," Rylee chirps. "Morning Ry," I respond. Rylee walks over to me and grabs me by the waist, she kisses me, right there in front of everyone. "I love you," I sing. "I love you to the end of the universe," Rylee replied.
"Get a room," Cannon commented. "Shut up, we don't have a room," Rylee counters. Everyone laughed at that. "When we win this war, we will all have a room," I chimed in. Everyone laughs once again.
I go over to one of the chairs at the round oak table and sit down. "Would you like a waffle?" Kacey offers. "When are you people going to learn, I hate breakfast," I joked. "Same here," Rylee adds. I give Rylee a look, she smiles back at me.
I love Rylee, and everything about her. Her caramel blonde hair, her deep ocean blue eyes, but most of all I love her personality.
"Kacey you're staying here, right?" Grayson questions. "Yes I am," Kacey responds. "Okay then," Grayson remarks.
The rest of the day just flew by. Nothing really happened. Before I knew it, it was eleven thirty, and time for Rylee and the others to leave.
My eyes fill with tears as Rylee kisses me goodbye. "Please don't go, I need you Rylee," I cried. "No you don't, you are strong, it will be okay," Rylee whispers. "But what if you get hurt?" I whimper. "I won't," Rylee reassures.
Rylee pulls me in close and kisses me. "I love you," She sings. "I love you," I respond. Cannon, Brynn, and Rylee, walk outside.
I started sobbing, Kacey comes over to me and wraps me in a hug. "It's okay Squirt," She whispers. I just cry. "You need to get your anger out," She states. "Do you want to practice fighting with our hands?" Kacey offers.
I look up at her and nod. She needs to learn anyway. "We can practice outside in the driveway," She states.
Grayson who has been watching from the right side of the room speaks up. "Can I join in?" He asks. "Sure" I respond. "I want to fight Kacey," I state. "Are you sure Squirt? I'm twice your size," Kacey reminds. "That makes it even better," I chuckled.
All three of us walk out into the driveway. "Kacey and I first," I stated. Kacey and I walked into the center of the hardened dirt driveway. "I am going to use what I learnt in rugby," I beamed. "And I am going to use what I think will work," Kacey laughed.
"On three," Grayson hollers. "One, two, three, fight," He shouted.
Kacey ran about half speed at me, I don't think she wants to hurt me. "I tackle her rugby style," she falls to the ground with a bang. Kacey reaches up and pulls me down with her. I push her head away from me so that I can stand up.
Grayson taps the ground which Kacey laid on. "One, two, three. You're out" He reports. I burst out laughing, Kacey starts laughing to. "Okay I need to take a break," I giggled.
"Next up, drum roll please," I began. I drum roll on my knees. "Kacey and Grayson," I cheered. Grayson and Kacey both walk out to the center of the driveway. I sit on the dirt.
"Three, two, one, fight," I exclaim. They go at each other like a cat and dog. "Looks like I need to teach you guys how to fight," I joked. Just then, Kacey bends over and swipes the bottom of Graysons ankle. Grayson falls over onto his back. "That's what I like to call the ice picker," Kacey laughed. "And the winner is, Kacey!" I holler.
Kacey and Grayson shake hands. "Squirt, do you think you can handle Grayson?" Kacey questioned. "Yeah, it might help loosen my body up," I state.
Kacey counts down from three, the fight begins. I feel that weird fuzzy feeling I had when I'd acquire a new Rec. I stretch my arm, like freaky stretch. I reach over to Grayson from 5 feet away.
"What the hell are you doing?" Grayson shouts. I push him to the ground. "What's it look like?" I ask. "I'm kicking your ass," I added. I win the fight.
"You can really stretch," Kacey states. "How do you feel, any different?" Kacey worries. "If I'm going to be honest, all things considering I feel fine," I remark. I really do feel fine. "Are you sure?" Grayson stammered. "Guys I really do feel fine, honest," I reassure.
"Let's go find something to eat," Kacey insists.
We all walk inside, and eat Cheetos.
