ch 8

   

   Ever since the locker incident, Keith has been a little jumpy. It's seems as if he always spaces out. I know he is a lot on his mind because of the whole half galra thing, but it looked like there's more to it.

     I sat in the control room, the paladins has just beat a robot without a head. They all went to the dining
Room for a victory supper. I sat there before heading to my room.

     I know I should celabrate with them but I can't help but feel like I would get in the way. I mean, they have all they need. I guess I just don't want to ruin what they have.

     I sat in my room fiddling with a few trinkets I had collected from different planets. One of which was a stone that shone the color that represented your strongest feeling. When I was holding it. It shone a bright pink. The color of love.

     I don't know why it would be love. I don't even know what love is. I threw the rock at the door just as someone walked in. "Ow!" I looked up to see lance. "Sorry lance, I didn't know you were coming in." "It's fine y/n, but what made you throw it?" He asked. "Nothing, just frustrated, I got a lot on my mind." "And by 'a lot' you mean being half galra and keith?" He asks again. My face gets hot at the mention of Keith. "No! I mean yes! I mean- yes being half galra, but Keith? I- it's just complicated!" I rant. Lance just chuckles. "So, when did you start liking keith?" "What!?!! You know what, go stuff your face you big duface!" I say getting up and pushing him out.

     As soon as the door shut I slid down it. Was lance right? Do I like keith? I don't know any more. I laid there the rest of the night.

   I was currently with shiro. We were supposed to be getting a guy called slov. When we did get him, turns out lance had also found him. The problem was he was on the other side of the ship.

   So after the paranoid guy was done being picky, we set off back to the castle. That's when we had to fight this guy that turned into a giant, turns out lance still his yepper, and once again, I was sent flying through space. My head hit something and I blacked out.

    When I came to, I was in my room. I looked around and saw keith beside my bed. I blushed. I shook him, he was asleep before, waking him up.

      "Hey." He looked at me before smileing. "Hey." He replied. "What happened?" "You were knocked out when you hit your head on the edge of the bay door way." I sat there for a minute. "How long have I been out?" "A month."

     My heart stopped. We were supposed to defeat zarkon. "What! What happened?! Did we beat zarkon?! Can we go home? Where's shiro and lance? I need to talk to th-" he placed a hand on my shoulder. He gave me a saddened look. Something was wrong, very wrong.......

      With lotor

    I was sitting on the throne on the main ship. After voltron put my father in critical condition, I took the throne. The last time I saw voltron I had my generals distract them while I snuck onto their castle ship.

      Once on the ship, I wandered around mapping it out in my brain. I reached a strange room and decided to enter. When I did, I saw a beautiful girl. She was half galra, like me, but different. She looked familiar. Then it hit me.

     It was Y/n. The girl that my father and his soldiers trained. The best assassin in the universe. What was she doing here? I picked her up to take her with me. But I was stopped on my way out.

      "Drop her." I heard from behind me. I turned around slowly. "Sorry princess, but I'm afraid I can't do that." "And why not?" She asked. "Because she is part of the galra empire, and on top of that, betrothed." Her eyes widened in shock. She drew her Bayard and attacked. I had no choice but to set y/n down. My generals and I had to retreat before I could grab her again.

    So now here I am. Sitting on my father's throne plotting ways to get to my fiancee. Of course most of them involve getting rid of the paladins.

      How I miss seeing her around the ship. Watching her move flawlessly while training. I will see that again. And there's nothing I will let stop me from being with her.

With Keith

    I watched y/n sleep. She was so beautiful. Allura told us what lotor said. She was betrothed to him. More reason to win this fight. I can't stand imagining her with anyone. Maybe it's because I'm in love with her.

    I can't tell lance, he'd kill me. Shiros gone, and pidge would tell everybody. And hunk is no good at keeping secrets, neither is coran, so that leaves allura. And as of late, she doesn't really trust me, and barely trusts y/n.

     So I have no one to talk to, and the person I feel for is in a coma. Yep my life has been great. It's only worse now that lotor is after her. Some times I wish I wasn't a paladins, and aliens aren't real, and we were all back on earth at the garrison. But that's not gonna happen.

     We just gotta pull through. I sat there until I fell asleep. I don't know how long I was out, but I came to when I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see y/n. She's awake, she's ok, thank God, if there even is one.
