When the heart betrays

This awful place

She couldn't swim the thoughts in her head drown her

She couldn't speak the voices in her head suffocated her

She couldn't take a glimpse the reflection in the mirror disgusted her

She couldn't love the pain in her heart consumed her

She couldn't act the fear in rejection paralyzed her

Why would she want to continue to live surrounded by people who broke her?

She's convinced that her presence is no longer required in this awful place
