God I miss you so much
I lay awake at 4am wishing
You were here
To tell me it's okay
But then, I get a bitter
Taste in my mouth
I remember how you left me alone
You left me on my bathroom floor
Gasping for the breath
That I can't find
And still can't
You left knowing you cracked my ribcage open and jerked my heart out
Without a second thought
It's 5am now, and I don't miss you as much as I did before
