The creak of the gas stations bathroom door swung open as a scared blood covered boy ran to the sink. His gray eyes stared at themselves through the reflection, his black hair disheveled blood covering most of his mouth but some spots just spattered there on his face.

He tried to recall everything that just happened one second, he was a normal teenage boy with a normal family and then out of nowhere a car hit his mom and just kept ramming into the back of them until they finally ran his family off the road. Next thing he could recall was the blaring car horn, and the sound of tearing flesh. Crawling out of the car and seeing his mom and dad eating away at some guy like he was their last meal made him want to join as if he craved it

How could someone crave something like that? He asked himself as he began to scrub the blood off his face as more of the memory flashed in his mind. Another man getting out the truck and shooting his mom making her scream out as her flesh bubbled and sizzled at the contact of the bullet. But still he didn't act until the man pointed his gun at his father. He couldn't lose another parent not like that. Not when he had questions about what the hell was going on!

He ran towards the man jumping on him and like instinct bit at the closest thing he could. Which made him crave it even more. He didn't realize that he had bitten off the man's ear until it was too late, A strange feeling surged a mix between wanting to puke and unbelievable hunger. How could he be hungry for this?!

He fought the urge and spit it out quickly backing away from the man when he remembers his dad grabbing him and telling him to run pointing him towards the woods. All his dad kept repeating was "Dagen run!". Which seemed like a pretty good idea, so he did. He ran faster than ever not thinking to look back or stop until he heard a shot and his dad screaming out. Just like that he had lost his parents in a matter of minutes he had lost his parents and the only thing he could think right now was to keep running.

A frantic voice outside of the bathroom door snapped him back into his reality, his face red from the scrubbing he looked at the door before walking towards it and pressing his ear against it. He heard heavy breathing and a man asking about a bloody kid. Instantly he looked around the room spotting the window without wasting a second, he locked the door climbed on the sink and climbed out the window. Of course, he was no cat so he landed on his face but that didn't stop him from getting up and running as fast as he could.

He stopped running when he hit the woods breathing heavily, he reached for his phone but couldn't find it. Shit! He must have dropped it somewhere. He had nowhere to go, no friends or family to call. He ran fingers through his hair trying to think of what to do next.

"I need to go to that stupid camp Tulum. They said they had friends there" he thought out loud to himself looking around judging what direction to go in. "I have to find the nearest town and ask how to get there maybe I can hitch a ride or a bus?" He thought as he began to walk North.

What felt like forever he finally found a road leading right into a small town. He went to a small convenient store outside of the town. He walked in going to the woman behind the counter. "Uh Can you tell me where camp Tulum is?"

"Camp what?" She asked never looking up from the magazine she was reading

"Camp Tulum"

"I never heard of no Camp Tulum sorry"

"oh, uh do you know someone in town that might know?"

"Nope Now if you're not going to buy anything can you please go, I'm trying to read here"

Dagen sighed and walked out the store not knowing who else to talk to about Tulum.

"You're looking for Camp Tulum?" Came a frail voice

"Yes, I am" he replied looking around and noticing an old man rocking slowly on a rocking chair which Dagen thought was empty a few moments ago.

"it's not far from here. Just a few miles out of town."

"Really? Do you think you can take me there?"

"No, I'm afraid I can't take you Sonny, but I promise you follow this here road it'll take you right there"

"How do you know it's there? The girl in the store never heard of it?"

"Because I knew families who went there"

"Oh, uh thanks then"

The old man nodded and went back to rocking as Dagen walked over keeping to the side of the road as he walked. He had no idea if the man hunting him was still following him, but he doubts it considering he was now missing an ear.

After walking for hours and wishing he had brought a thing of water and a snack from the store he finally made it to a sign in front of a small town maybe village he guessed was the proper term? The sign read Tulum and it was defiantly not a Camp.

As soon as he walked in a man Appeared in black smoke and smiled at the boy, he had black greased back hair and wore a nice suit with a nice long coat over it.

"Hello there" he smiled but something about it made Dagen uneasy "You must be Dagen I'm Nero"
