Elena’s P.O.V
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off for work so I decided to get out of bed and went into the bathroom to get ready. As I was finished I went into the kitchen to grab something to eat after getting my things and went out the door to get coffee before walking into work. After getting my usual at the coffee shop I had my usual day at the office for the magazine company I work for. After a long day at work I decided to head straight home and as I walked through the door after grabbing mail from the mailbox and put it on the coffee table so that I could take a shower and get changed into some P.J’s, after I was done I went back into the living room to see what mail I had.
As I got to the last envelope I opened it and saw that it was an invitation to an event and after I finished reading it, I was surprised to be invited to a movie premiere for a movie called Avengers Endgame and that it was this friday coming up, so I decided to buy my dress tomorrow after noon when I’m done work so that I wouldn’t have to worry and then do my hair and makeup the day of the premiere. After reading my mail and watching some movies while I ate dinner I decided to get into some more comfier clothes and go to bed because I started to get tired so I decided to tell my Best friend Maria about it tomorrow at some point after I'm done.
The next day
It was a Thursday afternoon and before I left work to head home, I went to my manager to see if I was able to have tomorrow off and told her the reason why. After I finished talking to her I grabbed my things and walked home and as I walked through my apartment door, I hung my keys on a hook and walked towards my bedroom and dropped my stuff onto my bed and got changed into some sweats and a T-shirt and put my hair into a messy bun, when I was finished, I decided to call Maria to see if she wanted to come over so that I could tell her that I was invited to a movie premiere, after a few rings she picked up the phone, "hey Elena, what's up?" she said, "hey Maria, I was wondering if you wanted to come over for a while, I have something to tell you" I said as I got excited, "ya sure, I'll come over, I'll be there in a few" she said and we both hung up.
A few minutes later Maria walked through the door and sat next to me on the couch, "hey, so what did you want to tell me" she said and I sat up and told her what I got in the mail yesterday. "That's amazing Elena, not everyone gets an invite to a movie premiere unless your part of the cast or a celebrity or something like that," she said "ya, and I also asked my manager if I was able to have the day off tomorrow so that I would be able to have time to get ready" I said and continued to relax on the couch and started watching TV. After a while of watching some TV, we both started to get hungry, "hey, you hungry" I said to Maria, "ya, I'm starting to get hungry, do you want to order pizza or Chinese" she said and we both decided on Chinese instead. After a while of having a good time and having a good laugh we both started getting tired and Maria decided to head back to her place for the night and after she left I went I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and went to bed for the night when I was finished.
