Konoha Gakuen, a highly prestigious school which stands apart from all the rest. Everyone must work really hard because the teachers are very strict. And soon summer break will star and everyone's planning what they're going to be doing. It seems like they've completely forgot about the final exams! Actually that's not what really worries me... Classes are almost over and I can't even get myself to talk to him. But what can I say to the most popular and handsome guy in school? Sasuke Uchiha, the raven haired boy with onyx eyes that definitely wouldn't even know that I exist if we weren't in the same class. He's pretty mysterious, doesn't talk much and he rarely smiles. But I have to talk to him no matter what.
When I looked at him, for the million time since we're in Kakashi Sensei's class, he seemed very serious while he was looking through the window, although that made him look even hotter. I knew that a guy like him would never be interested in a girl like me. I'm not popular or pretty... And the only thing I have is a huge forehead.
While I was thinking about talking to Sasuke and what would I even say to him, I could hear two voices in front of me, immediately recognizing them as Karin and one of her followers, Amy. They and Namie, their other friend, were considered popular, God knows how or why.
"Hey, Karin." I overheard Amy speak as she slowly directed her attention to me. I looked away just to pretend that I wasn't listening. "Looks like the forehead is deluding herself again!" And this made Karin laugh, of course.
"Then she can keep dreaming! Sasuke doesn't have enough bad taste to look at her." She responded, smiling proudly.
Karin thought she was so amazing and was always pushing herself to Sasuke, even though he rejected her all the time. Maybe she wasn't so great after all. To be honest, I couldn't understand why she was so concerned about me liking Sasuke. I mean, if she was so good, why would I be a threat to her? Maybe... Maybe I could be good enough to Sasuke? Who knows...As I started getting back to reality I was able to see that only a couple of students were listening to Kakashi Sensei because the others were either talking with their partner or texting on their phones, so he decided to finish the class. As soon as he closed his History book, everyone looked in his direction, waiting for him to say something. Including me.
"Ok everyone!" He spoke after clearing his throat while he looked at us. "I think that's enough for today. But don't forget this will be on next week's exam! So you better study if you don't want to fail." Kakashi Sensei added, finishing his speech. Everyone stayed silent but of course Naruto had something to say. He just couldn't help himself by staying quiet once in his life.
"Studying two days before should be enough!" He exclaimed proudly while putting himself comfortable in his chair. "If I do it like that I'll have everything under control for the exams!"
"Under control, hm?" Kakashi Sensei asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "You should say under zero as your grades are, Naruto." And of course this had everyone laughing at Naruto while he got a little blush in his face.
"Hey, that's not funny, Sensei!" He yelled, after standing up and putting his hands on his table. And right after this, the bell rang and we all ran out of the class. I walked out next to Ino and Hinata as we decided to go to our spot outside of the school building.
"Finally some time to rest!" Ino exclaimed, smiling happily.
"Yeah... Kakashi sensei's classes are so boring!" I said, letting out a sigh and stayed up with Ino while Hinata sat down on the bench.
"You're right... But tell me, Sakura, what's wrong?" She asked while looking at me with a concerned face.
"W-What do you mean?" I was caught off guard with her question, feeling my cheeks getting red.
