The Choice (SasuSaku)

Chapter 26

Me and my dad cleaned the kitchen and when I looked at the kitchen clock I ran upstairs, explaining him that I was late for Naruto's party. I could hear my father laugh as I closed my bedroom door and I immediately started to change myself. I'm glad I accepted Sasuke's offer to shower at his place or else I would have to lose more time. I searched for my new outfit, wearing it quickly and decided to apply a soft make up. Once I was done with that I brushed my hair and curled up the ends.

I was now ready and still had five minutes left so I looked at my reflection on the mirror with a proud smile on my face. I was with a dark pink crop top that highlighted my breast and showed my belly, a black skirt that ended in the middle of my thighs and a pair of boots with small heels that only reached my ankles. About the make up, I was using a red lipstick, mascara and black eyeliner. And finally, my hair reached the beginning of my back and had some curls. I couldn't help but to feel impressed with myself. And I hoped Sasuke would like it as well.

In the mean time I got a text from him telling that he was on my front door and I quickly grabbed my purse, putting my phone inside it and went downstairs. My father was watching a program on the television but looked at me as I opened the door.

"Have fun, honey." Was all he said before I bid him goodbye and exit my house, closing the door behind me. "Hey, babe." I smiled to the boy that was in front of me with two plastic bags on his hands while he examined me. "Sasuke?" My cheeks started to become red as his eyes scanned my body, finishing on my face. "What... What do you think?" I almost choked with my own words.

"You are so beautiful." Sasuke whispered as his face got closer to mine. "And I love that outfit, it really shows your curves." He smirked, giving me a gentle kiss.

"Thank you. You look very handsome, as always." I bit my lip while looking at my boyfriend's outfit. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and black and white sneakers. I knew he black was his favorite color and even though he seemed too simple he looked really hot. I started to wonder how everything looked so good on him and that he didn't even had to try.

"Thank you, baby." A kiss was placed on my forehead. "Now let's get going before I change my mind and take you to my place instead." Sasuke said, intertwining our fingers as we started to walk. And of course my face got red. I was used to his dirty words and actions but he always managed to caught me off guard.

"You're such a pervert." I answered, letting out a laugh as we walked side by side to Naruto's house. We all lived close so we didn't exactly need cars and could enjoy the summer nights.

"But you love me." He winked as response and I just shrugged my shoulders with a smile on my face. Sasuke always had answers for everything.


We kept walking in the silence of the night only with the moon and some street lights illuminating us. It felt pretty relaxing especially when the soft wind hit my face, pushing my hair away from my face. But suddenly my thoughts went back to my conversation with Sasuke. We were really leaving Konoha, our family... And our friends. Reminding myself of this made me happy and sad at the same time because I wanted to be with Sasuke but... I didn't want to be away from everything. We both grew up here after all.

I looked around me, not wanting to face Sasuke until something caught my attention. It was the park where Sasuke confessed his feelings for me and asked me to be his girlfriend. The cherry blossom tree was a few meters away and I couldn't help myself but to stop on my tracks and look at it. All the moments me and Sasuke shared there passed by my mind and a huge smile appeared on my lips. We've been through so much and now here we were... Almost leaving to a new country.

I didn't notice that I left a tear escape until I felt Sasuke's hand on my face as his finger cleaned it.

"Baby? Why are you crying?" He made me face him as concerned filled his eyes.
