The Choice (SasuSaku)

Chapter 5

Sasuke's POV

It has been awhile since Sakura went to the bathroom and I was starting to get worried. We already had our orders and we were almost done eating. What if... Something happened to her? I had to go find her and fast because I was starting to get a bad feeling about this.

"Ah... Ino, do you think something happened to Sakura? I mean... She hasn't come back yet." Hinata said, looking at Ino with a concerned expression as she finished her meal.

"You're right, maybe we should go look for her." The blonde haired girl answered, also feeling worried about the pinkette. But they couldn't go after her, I was the one who had to find her and work things out. After all, it was my fault she left.

"I'm sorry, guys but I have to go." I spoke, starting to get up from my seat. "Can you take care of my bill, Naruto? I'll pay back to you later." I added right before I started walking in the direction of the bathrooms.

"Wait... What?!" Naruto yelled, being caught by surprise but I was already too far from them to answer. I had to find Sakura, no matter what.


I speed up my pass, bumping into some people during the process but without even caring to apologize to them. My priority was Sakura and I wouldn't rest until I had her with me. But it has been a long time since she left. What if she went home? It was getting late anyway... No, I couldn't give up, I was going to find her even if I had to search for her in the whole mall. As I was just getting near the bathrooms I heard a voice that made me stop.

"Karin, we shouldn't have left Sakura alone! This is going to cause us problems!" Amy screamed as she ran after Karin, followed by Namie.

"Karin?" I questioned myself as I looked to the three girls running from the bathroom hall. "Leave her alone? So she still hasn't left..." Now I was getting really worried. Did they do something to her? I ran as fast as I could straight to the girls bathroom. When I saw which door was, I opened it without hesitating and entered. Lucky for me it was empty but the floor was fulled with pink hair. "Hair? What the hell happened in here?" I couldn't be more confused but as soon as I heard crying I knew exactly who it was. I got closer to the compartment where the sound was coming from and opened the door as fast as I could, facing an awful scenario. Sakura was crying and looked devastated. "Sakura, here you are! What happened to you?" I said as my eyes locked with hers. "What... What have they done to you?" Words were failing me and I couldn't understand why. I was never like this. She didn't say anything but her eyes never left mines. "Sakura." I spoke more firmly. "Who did this to you?"

"S-Sasuke... What are you doing here?" She finally spoke, starting to get up. "You'll get in trouble if someone sees you in here!" I could notice that she was more concerned about me than with what happened to her. But that was Sakura, she would put anyone above her.

"Hn. That doesn't mater. Who did it?" I closed the door behind me, locking it. Sakura wouldn't answer, so I continued. "I'm not letting you go until you tell me the truth. It was Karin, wasn't it?" As she opened her mouth to finally say something, two voices interrupted us and it made me realize that two girls had just arrived in the bathroom. Lucky for us they couldn't see or hear us. They started to talk about some guy and didn't look like they were going to be quick. Shit, what now?

"Now we can't get out." Sakura whispered, standing in front of me with a visible blush on her face. "What are we going to do?"

"Shh." I whispered back, holding her face with one hand in the attempt of making her stay quiet because even though we were whispering, we could still get caught.



Sakura's POV

I was still processing the fact that Sasuke came looking for me and the moment his hand touched my face, my eyes never left his and I could feel our breaths together. He rubbed my cheek gently and it felt so good and so right. I really wanted to kiss him and we were so close with our lips just inches way. But before I could move myself or think straight, his face got closer and closer to mine until his lips finally touched mine. And I could say that it was the best sensation in the world. The way our lips moved was perfect, it was like they were made for each other. I could hear the girls talking about the hair on the floor but I didn't care. Sasuke was kissing me and all I wanted to do was to enjoy every second of it. His hands were on my cheeks and mines were on his chest where I could feel his muscles trough the soft t-shirt he was wearing.

The kiss started to get more passionate and when his tongue asked for permission to get inside my mouth, I immediately gave it, letting our tongues explore each others mouths. When we started to need air, we slowly separated our lips and I looked away, feeling a little shy about what just happened. And I could tell that Sasuke was feeling the same way.

We heard the bathroom door open and the girls getting out, still on their conversation and that was our chance to get out as well. Without making a lot of noise, we got out of the small compartment and I went on the front just in case another girl could show up. I opened the bathroom door and after checking for like 3 times, we finally left the girls bathroom. Sasuke grabbed his phone and he seemed to be texting someone but I decided not to ask, it was none of my business.

"I'm texting Naruto to let them know you're ok." He said as if reading my mind. "And also to say that I'm going to take you home. It's getting dark and I don't feel comfortable with the idea of you walking by yourself." Sasuke put the phone back on his pocket and looked at me, showing a small smile.

"Alright." I nodded, agreeing with the idea of him walking me home. "And thank you, Sasuke." A shy smile appeared on my face as I looked at the raven haired boy.

"You don't have to thank me. I would do it again if I had to." He kissed my forehead, grabbing my hand and after intertwining our fingers, we started to walk to the exit of the mall. We were on a comfortable silent until we reached the street and a shiver hit me because of the cold weather. Sasuke seemed to notice it and before I could protest, he took off his coat and made me wear it.

"You didn't have to, you can catch a cold..." I muttered, looking at him while he was walking completely fine.

"Don't worry, Sakura. I'm not even cold." He replied and squeezed my hand, in a sign to assure me that it was ok. We kept walking towards my house and after 10 minutes we were on the front door.

"So... This is it. Thank you for walking me home, Sasuke." I said, looking at him with a sweet smile. "And thanks for lending me your jacket, it helped." I was about to remove it but his hand on my shoulder stopped me.

"No, keep it. You can give it to me later." Sasuke looked at me, not giving me a chance to disagree with him. He was so sweet to me and I couldn't stop smiling. "So..." He got closer to me, pushing me gently against his body and kissed me in a very sweet and passionate way. It wasn't like the first kiss we shared but it was very good too. And then something hit me.

"Sasuke, I..." I spoke after separating our lips.

"Hm? What is it?" He muttered, looking straight into my eyes. I could tell he was a little bit worried.

"I wanted to apologize for what I said before. I didn't mean and I hope..." I couldn't finish because he interrupted me.

"Hn. Why do you always have to apologize for everything?" He sounded annoyed and I was feeling like and idiot again. "You don't have to do that."

"But Sasuke... I..." I looked down like my shoes were the most amazing thing in the world.

"Look, I should get going but don't worry about it." Sasuke said, grabbing my chin softly and pulling my head up to face him. "We'll see each other tomorrow at school, ok?" He left a small kiss on my forehead and let go of me, starting to walk away.

"Ok, see you tomorrow!" I responded excitedly while waving him goodbye.


When I lost the sign of him, I went inside and everything was dark. I looked down at my watch and it was late, so my parents must have been asleep already. I walked straight to my room and closed the door behind me, remembering everything that happened. A huge smile appeared on my face as I still couldn't believe it. I was walked home and kissed by Sasuke Uchiha. This was definitely the best day of my life.
