Chapter 3

Hey guys! So before the reading, I really want to thank all of you for your amazing support and sweet words. To think that I only started yesterday and that I already have such good feedbacks gives me even more motivation to keep surprising you all. Once again, thank you very much, you guys are incredible and I couldn't luckier and happier!
Anyway, I won't take much more of your time because I believe that you are excited to see what comes next, so here it is: CHAPTER 3!!! Enjoy it :)

Sakura's POV

I was just finishing on getting myself ready and I actually enjoyed the final result. I was wearing a red top with a short black skirt and black boots and my hair was nicely brushed, reaching the middle of my back. I was also wearing a slight make up, starting with a light pink gloss and finishing with a black eyeliner. I wasn't the type of girl that would fill all of her face with beauty cosmetics.

After looking at myself in the mirror for the last time, I grabbed my purse and walked out of my bedroom. I said my goodbyes to my parents as I left my house and walked in the direction of the mall. Lucky for me, I only lived 10 minutes away from there. Once I got to my destination, I looked at my phone, seeing a message from Ino informing me that she, Sai and Hinata were already inside, next to the cafeteria. I went to meet them and once I got there, I couldn't be more confused. Wasn't this supposed to be a girls night?

"Hey, guys. So... Ino, what is Sai doing here?"I asked, looking at both Ino and Sai. Please don't tell me that...

"Well... Sai's here because we're waiting for Sasuke and Naruto..." Ino whispered, trying to find safety in Sai's arms. She knew what would be mine and Hinata's reaction to this.

"What? Ino, you should've told us before!" I tried not to make a scene while my face was becoming red. I couldn't believe that I was going to see Sasuke again... I mean, it was too soon due to what happened in that afternoon.

"So, Ino never told you girls that this was a group date with Naruto and Sasuke?" Sai asked, showing his innocent smile while putting an arm around Ino's hip.

"I'm sorry girls but I wanted to surprise you." She showed an apologetic look, waiting for an answer from us. "Maybe that was a bad idea...?"

"No, that's ok. Right, Hinata?" I looked at the dark blue haired girl that was standing next to me. But no answer came from her. "Hinata?" I asked again but someone interrupted our conversation.

"We finally found you guys!" We all looked at the blonde haired boy that spoke and the raven haired boy that was next to him. "Sorry we're late... We were in a video game shop." Naruto smiled while rubbing the back of his head. But as soon as he noticed me, he got closer to me. "Hey, you're Sakura! You're in the same class as me." He exclaimed and the only thing I could think of was how idiot he could be. We've been in the same class since we were kids and he only noticed it now? How naive was he? But as soon as I looked away I could feel Sasuke looking at me with a small smile on his face. Oh, how I wish I could know what was on his head. But wait... He's smiling at me! I decided to show a little smile to him while Ino and Naruto were deciding where we were going to eat. But as soon as he noticed my smile, he looked away with his cheeks getting red.


After an argument between Ino and Naruto we finally had a place to eat. We sat down on a circular table where I was with Sasuke on my right and Naruto on my left, Hinata was on Naruto's left with Ino next to her, followed by Sai. Since the place was a little full and we already knew what we were going to eat, we decided to take that time to chat about different topics after ordering our drinks.

"It's so good to take advantage of these walks because soon the final exams are going to start!" Ino exclaimed after drinking a little sip of her juice.

"You're right, Ino! We won't have time do do anything." I said, letting out a small sigh. I really wanted to enjoy every moment with my friends before I had to bury myself with books and spend full nights awake.

"Hey, hey... Can you talk about more interesting stuff? I'm not liking this conversation at all." Naruto intervened and showed an annoyed look.

"So... Another subject, hm?" It was Sai's turn to say something. "Then how long has it been since you've been with a girl, Naruto?" He looked at Naruto while the rest of us started laughing.

"That's not even a subject! That's privacy, you pervert!" The blonde haired boy riposted and this caused them to have a small friendly fight.


Once the two boys were done arguing, we all started to talk about different topics from school and summer break to our future decisions about college. We were all having a great time. But suddenly Ino and Sai started flirting with each other and Naruto and Hinata were whispering something to each other, leaving me and Sasuke left. I was kind of afraid to start a conversation until Sasuke decided to speak.

"Ah... Sakura, right?" He looked at me, showing a small smile.

"Yes... I'm the girl that bumped into you today." I answered, letting out a small laugh which he joined me.

"I knew you looked familiar." Sasuke got closer to me, our faces just a few inches away. "So, tell me something about you. Besides bumping into people." He teased me, showing a small smirk.

"Well, I really like to draw and write and my dream is to work on a publisher. Oh, and who knows... One day have my own." I smiled, looking at the onyx eyes of the duckbutt haired boy. Even though I was so distracted with him, I could feel someone looking at me and my inside was telling me that something was going to happen.

"That sounds very interesting." He nodded.

"What about you, Sasuke?"

"I'm a huge fan of video games and I can picture myself creating a game one day..." A big smile showed up on his face as he spoke but suddenly he turned serious. "But I might end up being a police like my dad always dreamed of... You see, all the men in our family followed that path and I just don't want to disappoint him." Sasuke was looking down and as I was about to comfort him, Ino's voice was heard.

"Tell me guys... Am I the only one that really enjoys being 17 years old? I mean, before we always had to go out with our parents and now we have so much more freedom." She laughed, drinking more of her juice.

"That's right, Ino. It was such a nuisance." I joined in, also taking a sip of my drink. "They were always arguing with us and embarrassing us!"

"You have no idea what you're talking about." Sasuke replied coldly before drinking more of his cola. And then something hit me. Shit, I completely forgot... "And you know what? People who think like that are really annoying." He ended, throwing me a judgemental look. I couldn't believe it. He just called me annoying. Way to go Sakura, now you ruined everything...

"Hey, Sasuke! How can you say something like that to Sakura?" Naruto yelled while poiting a finger at the raven haired boy. And naturally his action had a negative effect on Hinata, who looked down to her hands that were standing on her lap.

"Guys, let's not fight... Look, why don't we order something to eat?" Ino tried to calm down the airs, faking a laugh. She didn't want the day to end like this and neither did I.

"Great idea!" I said as I stood up, still feeling the harsh words of Sasuke on my head. "So while you order, I'll go to the bathroom. I promise I won't take long." A fake smile appeared on my face before I walked away from my group straight to the bathroom.
