After this awkward moment, the rest of the day went just fine. Karin didn't bother me since she spent the whole time after Sasuke and Ino and Hinata tried to cheer me up all the time. But unfortunately it didn't work that much. At least Asuma Sensei's and Kurenai Sensei's classes helped me to get my mind off Sasuke and Karin.

The day was over and it was time to head home. My parents were probably home already and I still had to take the bus. An annoying travel of 45 minutes. Me, Ino and Hinata were saying our goodbyes at the gates of the school when Sasuke passed by us with Naruto, Sai, Shikamaru and Kiba joining him. When we made eye contact it made me remember the little accident we had, so I immediately looked away.

"Sakura, don't be like that. It was just a small accident." Hinata showed a sweet smile while rubbing my arm in an attempt to comfort me.

"Hinata's right." Ino spoke. "Look at the bright side, at least you got the chance to talk to him!" She winked and showed me a thumbs up. I didn't know what to say... They were right, it was just an accident but I made a full of myself on the first chance I had to talk to him. As I didn't answer, Ino continued. "And don't forget we're going to the mall. I know that will definitely cheer you up! See you soon." She waved me goodbye.

"Yeah, maybe it will...Goodbye..." I returned the gesture and walked away, still feeling bad about what happened.

"Ino... I don't think Sakura is feeling well..." I could hear Hinata saying before I got to the bus station.

Sasuke's POV

"Why do you have to be like that? You're so lucky and you don't even take advantage of it!" Naruto was complaining for the one hundred time today.

"That's none of your business, you idiot." I simply replied, looking down at the street. We were standing on the bridge where the train used to pass by.

"I know. But all the girls in school are crazy about you!" Naruto looked at me and he had a serious look. "You should give yourself a chance, Sasuke. Not everyone is as bad as you think."

"Hey, wait a minute." I showed a smirk, looking back at my blonde best friend. "Since when are you an expert when it comes to girls?" He started to gain a light blush in his face. "Perhaps, you're hiding something?" I teased him.

"Obviously not! It's only because I'm not arrogant like you... I value their feelings." Naruto answered, showing a proud and happy smile while crossing his arms on his chest. I never heard him talking like this before and it was kinda odd because he was Naruto, the knucklehead guy. As I was about to answer him, we were interrupted by a phone ringing. "Wait, someone's calling me" He said before grabbing his phone out of his pocket and answering the call. "Hello? Hey, Sai, how are you? Tell me, what are you doing for the rest of the day?" I last heard him say before I got lost in my own thoughts.

Maybe he was right. But still, there was no one that interested me. All the girls I've known are annoying and always yell my name every time they see me. It's like they've never seen a guy before. I knew I was one of the most popular guys in school but still, I was more than that. Because I was always seen by my looks and not my personality, I turned out to be cold and not very talkative. It was like a barrier to keep the girls away and that way they wouldn't try much and would eventually stop walking after me.

But somehow, a part of me wished there was a normal girl where I could be myself with. No yelling, no fangirling, no following around like a crazy person... Just a normal relationship with a beautiful and interesting girl. And as I was focused on my thoughts, something caught my eye and suddenly my full attention.

"Hm? What's this?" I whispered, looking at the small soft thing that was coming through my direction. "A cherry blossom petal? That's impossible. There aren't any of those trees around here..." I spoke to myself as I grabbed the little pink petal. "That's weird... This seems like what happened that day when..." I interrupted myself from thinking about that event. "Maybe this is supposed to mean something?" For a moment, I really thought that this could be a sign of something but then reality hit me. "Hn. It must be a coincidence and nothing more." I added, letting go of the cherry blossom petal and watching her flying away with the wind. But then someone caught my eye. A girl with long pink hair that was wearing the uniform of our school and grabbing a backpack was passing by the street and I couldn't help but to look at her. "She..." As I spoke she turned around to look at the petal and in that moment I was able to see her face. She was really beautiful and looked very familiar to me. Wait... It was the girl that bumped into me in the hallway. "Maybe..." A small smiled appeared in my face until I was interrupted.

"Hey, it's all arranged! The lonely boy will finally meet someone." Naruto said, smiling like a little kid and putting his arm around my shoulders. I was definitely caught off guard and my instinct was to hit him on his head.

"Why do you have to do that when I'm concentrated, you dobe?!" I replied angrily to him.

"Ahhh! Don't be like that!" He put his hands over his head, trying to get the pain away. "Anyway, aren't you coming?"

"Of course I am." I said, still mad for what he had done. But maybe I could actually meet someone interesting.
