Farewell

A goodbye poem for those who have passed school.

Ticking the clock, back to the day they first entered

With neatly combed hair and tears flowing like thunder

The tiny steps which wanted to run back home ,

Now are fearing to leave their new found home

The beguiling memories playing in their head, make their cheeks wet

A journey that seemed endless

Filled with love and contentment

Has now come to an end

From practicing a cursive hand writing to just scribbling on the notebook

From dressing up in fancy dress functions

To being a part of MUN's and Cyber Buzz competitions

From shorts and tunics to pants and salwars

From dipping their hands in the paint to making full blown portraits

From playing hide and seek to being in the school's sports team

They made it till the end.

Biding goodbyes was never this heart wrenching

Cause at 1:50 it never seemed like the final ending

No more running in the corridors now

No more games anymore

No more eating in the canteen anyhow

No more substitutions galore

Will it ever be the same again?

Will they ever meet again?

As they'll walk out for the last time

The souvenirs of their 14 years will lie in the line

Reminiscing about every memory they ever cherished

That'll never be vanished
