Teacher's Day

The pale white walls looked like home

What magic did you do on the 5 year old?

You were there to wipe the tears

And make all the little ones cheer

It's not easy being a teacher

But you do it so well

How are you able to figure

All the problems we dwell

The one to one sessions

Are always fun

Until the marks registers

And parents have joined the conversation

You sacrificed your nights

To help our boards fight

You gave us the solutions

To the problems out of our imagination

You were up till dawn

Checking our notebooks

Couldn't see a single child fawn

You did all it took

You made assignment sheets

For our own benefit

Yet every single time we were unable to complete

We are glad we got you indeed

We may be just another batch

Long forgotten in your memory

But you will always be attached

All the good times locked in out hearts treasury
