Ahhhhh! I'm sorry for being late!

And as I said a couple of chapters ago, the update times r gonna get really inconsistent depending on when I have time.

This chapter is a filler. Another one will come soon!

Bear with me, please!

Cloudleaf's Pov (It's gonna be her's for a while)

The Next Morning

Cloudleaf yawned as she pulled herself out of her den, stretching out her legs. The dawn patrol had just left and most of the warriors were in the clearing waiting to be put on a patrol. She spotted the three apprentices too, bouncing alongside their mentors, chattering excitedly. Shaking off the last scraps of drowsiness, Cloudleaf headed out of camp.

Best to collect herbs before the sun burns off all the morning dew.

Cloudleaf also needed to think about the newest prophecy. She'd debated whether or not to tell Bramblestar or Squirrelflight. It had said in four days they would fight. That wasn't long. Cloudleaf decided to take a risk and tell Bramblestar. The level-head leader would take the news better than his firey deputy.

The Scarlet Bird...Could it be...?

No, She left, she's gone.

But what about her sister?

Cloudleaf shook her head clear of her thoughts and turned her attention to picking the marigold growing by a tree. She was running low on other herbs too. Hopefully, they could all be found easily, if there was a battle coming, it was best to be prepared. Cloudleaf wondered if she should look for their camp. It could hold less danger to her than anyone else.

"Or," her mind whispered back, "it could be a thousand times more dangerous. And that's assuming you can even find their camp. Its been too long. What if you can't read their signs anymore?"

Cloudleaf hated it but her subconscious was right. It'd been many, many, moons since she last used or seen the signs. She'd barely managed to recognize their scent! Besides, she knew what would happen if she was caught.

Tell Bramblestar first. She reminded herself as she collected cobweb on her pelt.

Tell him everything? or just what he needs to know? She hesitated, absently watching a bird soar overhead. She'd hidden her past for so long. Could she really tell Bramblestar about her...connection to the enemy? You're the only one that knows them. She reminded herself, If you use that to your advantage, this could be over much quicker. If you stay hidden, how many lives are being put in danger?

Cloudleaf didn't want to know the answer to that question. Carefully, she nipped off some dock leaves and added it to her bundle, inspected the area around her. She was relatively close to camp. Someone might notice if she left. Besides, Bramblestar was probably awake now. She could get his opinion.

Satisfied with this plan of action, She headed back to camp.

Sorry, this was so short!

It's sorta just about Cloudleaf musing over what to do next

More things will happen next chapter!
