From Kit to Warrior Part 4

                     We just went to a water park and it was like 38 Celsius so even the WATER was warm.

the only cool spot was under the water spray.

and mom said we wouldn't need googles and i stood under the thing for like 10 minutes

Im really surprised on how good this is going on so

*jumps up and down in excitement*

                 Honeypaw bounced excitedly while bombarding Robinfeather with questions," What are we gonna do now? Can we go hunting? we don't have to search for ticks yet do we? can we battle train with Cloverpaw and Sparrowpaw?" Robinfeather purred," First of all we are going to teach you to hunt now, second, you can't learn two things at the same time, third, you're gonna be exhausted if you don't stop bouncing!"

                 Honeypaw stopped but looked up at him,"can we go hunting now?" Robinfeather sighed," yes, yes we can, come on." he stopped to tell Silverleaf and Acornfur they were going hunting. Honeypaw walked along with Cloverpaw and Sparrowpaw as they pushed through the thorn barrier,"So? what are your mentors like?" Cloverpaw inquires as they bounded along the path to the clearing. "well, Robinfeather's okay, he seems fun and nice but i don't know much about him,"Honykit mused

                  "Oh well i think Silverleaf can be boring, but I'll drag out the fun out of this unfun cat. what bout you Sparrowpaw?"Cloverpaw said. "Acornfur's okay as well but he's,well, serious. I dunno if he's the right match for me." Sparrowpaw worried. "i'll make him more fun for you if i have to" Cloverpaw replies,"we're here!" Silverleaf calls as they halt at the edge of the clearing.

                    "first, we show you the hunter's crouch," Acornfur demonstrates when they get into the clearing. He bends down and asks,"now if i was stalking a mouse, what would i be doing wrong?" Honeypaw thought,"well mice are quick but you could catch one without it even hearing your footste- Thats it!"she called out,"you should be putting your weight in your haunches! or it will sense your footsteps!" Acornfur nodded,"right, now i want you to try it." he straightens up and leaves a spot for them to practice.

                     Cloverpaw crouches down, tail lashing. "keep your tail still Cloverpaw, or you will rattle leaves or something that can scare prey." Silverleaf says as she holds Cloverpaw's tail down. she stopped lashing it and crouched carefully."thats good." Silverleaf mews, satisfied, Honeypaw crouched making sure to keep her tail down and still and was aware of Sparrowpaw copying her on the other side. Just then, she heard rustling in the bush near her,"a mouse? maybe" she pinpoints the scuffling and waggles her haunches like she saw apprentices to so many times before. Then, she leaped. Honeypaw's teeth sank into something warm and furry and she felt it go limp. she sat straight up with a mouse in her jaws and looked at Robinfeather, who was now looking at her as well.,"Good pounce!"he praised,"Thanks" Honeypaw mumbled around her mouse,"My first prey! yes!"

                     So sorry if that was short, I really don't feel like writing anymore

*sigh*
