New chapter
Cloverpaw poked her head past the moss that draped over the leader's den and into the dim cave beyond. "Bramblestar?" She mewed quietly. There was no response from the dark and as her eyes adjusted, She could see there was no one there. Cloverpaw backed out of the cave and glanced around at the camp below, Looking for the Thunderclan leader as she bounded down the rocks that led to highledge.
Reaching the bottom, Cloverpaw stopped Silverleaf as she walked towards the fresh-kill pile. "Have you see Bramblestar?" She asked her mentor. Silverleaf flicked her tail impatiently, "He isn't on highledge?"
"nope"
"Then he's probably on patrol"
"Oh," Cloverpaw frowned. "should I go find him?"
Silverleaf sighed, "If you were clan leader would you like to be chased down by the border and bothered by an apprentice with a question?"
Cloverpaw scuffed her paws guiltily "I guess not" she mumbled "but I have to tell him what happened with Sparrowpaw!"
"you can tell him when he gets back." Her mentor snapped, pushing past her to the fresh-kill pile.
Cloverpaw dipped her head sadly and made her way to the medicine cat's den to check on Sparrowpaw.
"Cloudleaf?" Cloverpaw called, stepping into the shaded den. Cloudleaf's head poked out of the cave in the back. "Yes, Cloverpaw? What are you here for?" She asked, Shaking a few leaves from her pelt as she stepped out of the storage room. "I'm here to see Sparrowpaw." Cloverpaw answered nervously, "Is he okay?"
Cloudleaf nodded, " He's fine but sleeping right now. How did Bramblestar take the news?"
"I haven't told him, He hasn't come back from his patrol yet," Cloverpaw explained.
"What are you doing while waiting for him? Something productive i hope?" Cloudleaf asked.
"I don't know what to do. Honeypaw isn't talking to me and i'm not allowed to leave camp without a warrior." Cloverpaw confessed
Cloudleaf mused over this for a moment. "Why don't you help me sort herbs?" She suggested finally, " It'll keep you busy until Bramblestar comes back."
Cloverpaw nodded eagerly, "okay!"
I feel like that was too short. Oh well. At least its up now.
