"We found him," I said, closing the back door behind us. "And he's pissed. He was at the Wolf Den, in Ella's room. I walked in on them having sex."

"You what!? He's too young for that! I told you it was a bad idea to let him have a girlfriend!" Val started to go his room when I grabbed her arm. I shook my head.

"Val, this isn't the time for that. He's already having sex, so we just need to let Chris and Zane take over and talk to him about that." She pouted and crossed her arms. She took a deep breath.

"Fine. But why is he so pissed? There's no way you interrupted something that great." I huffed slightly and shook my head.

"No, I don't think so, but there's something else going on," Zane said. "He not only placed a barrier spell that spanned the entire Wolf Den, but he also spelled her house, her bedroom door... This isn't just about him wanting to have sex." I could hear Odie throwing things around his bedroom and bit my tongue. Zane and I shared a look. Don't say what I think you're about to fucking say, Zane... "He... he threw battle magic at me and hemorrhaged Liz."

"He what!? I don't care how tall he is, I'm going to ring his neck! What is wrong with him!?" I grabbed Val's arm as she marched towards his room again.

"Val, it was his dark side, I think. His eyes did this thing..." She covered her mouth, and her eyes watered. I heard Odie open his door and start to walk downstairs. I pointed to my ear and up towards him.

"Momma? Poppa?" he said quietly. Val buried her face into Chris' chest, and I adjusted myself, standing with my arms crossed and a stern look on my face.

"Yes?" I replied.

"I'm sorry." He was crying.

"What are you sorry about? Sorry you got caught?" I said a bit harshly. I didn't want to hurt him, but I wasn't sure of what was going to happen.

"I'm sorry for what I did. To you and to Poppa."

"Sit." I pulled out a chair from the table. "You're going to tell us what the hell that was about. I can't imagine you'd go through all that trouble just to have sex with Ella."

"What? No. I didn't even mean for that to happen! We were just talking, and she started to kiss me, and well, it just happened."

"So, then what were you doing and why did you work so hard to keep us from finding you?" Zane asked. I saw his face flush. "What is it?"

"...I overheard the four of you talking last night. Saying how I had some dark half to me, and how I have to defeat it before my birthday." The four of us exchanged glances, but no one said anything. He was crying harder. "I can feel it inside of me and I didn't know what it was. It's making me angry all the time! I'm so scared, Momma. I'm so scared of what's going to happen..." I put my arms around him as he sobbed into my chest. I signaled Zane, Chris, and Val to come over and hug him too.

"We're going to help you through this," Chris said. "I don't know how, but I will help you." Once his crying calmed down, Val wiped her tears and grabbed Odie's hands.

"I'm sorry. We should've told you this sooner."

"In some way, I always knew. I could feel him."

"'Him'?"

"Liam. He's always been there, staring back at me... But right now, it feels like he's trying to take over..." I saw Odie's left hand twitch for a second.

"Odie?" I said, softly, grabbing it. "Are you okay?" Odie put his other hand to his mouth and pushed himself out of the chair. He pushed me out of the way as he ran outside. He began to violently throw up something almost black. His legs buckled and I ran to catch him as he passed out. Val ran towards his vomit and held her nose.
