"Do you believe in love?" Louis babbled, stumbling over his own feet over and over again.

"Maybe, Lou, maybe." I answered half escorting, half carrying him up the stairs to his apartment.

"That's not an answer!" he complained.

I sighed. Louis had gotten pissed drunk again. The only difference was that he had drunken too much during daytime. He had turned up at work with a massive alcohol banner. It was pure luck that Barbara hadn't seen or smelled him and for Louis sake Julia had made up an excuse. I wasn't too sure why I was the one whose job it was once again o get him home. After all I was still angry with Louis. It was probably childish of me to still be mad but I couldn't just carry on like nothing's ever happened. I promised myself to look out for myself more and to do that I couldn't just swipe everything away.

The more strange it seemed to me that I was the one getting him home.

"Are you sure you can stay here on your own?"

Louis waved it off. "I'm turning thirty in a few weeks, duh."

I was about to leave when Louis grabbed my arm, holding me back from leaving his flat.

"Do you belive in love?"

"Lou", I shook my head. "We don't have to discuss this now."

"But..." Louis pulled a punch. "I want to discuss this now"

"Look, you should lay down and sleep. You're very drunk and I don't think we should be doing such a deep conversation whilst you can barely stand straight."

"But we will talk about it"

I nodded. "We gotta talk anyway. What about if I'm coming here this evening?"

Louis seemed surprised. "Today is Friday. Niall, today we're going to the KIWI. Julia, Shawn, me and you.

I shook my head. "I'm not going... and you shouldn't be going as well."

"Fine, then tonight it is." Louis sighed.

Shawn looked like a kicked puppy.

"So we're not going out today? Why?"

"I'm not in the mood to go and Louis is not in the condition." I simply answered.

If I weren't such a sensitive, sensible human being who needed a lot of time to get over things and to let them go I would be glad to just go back to normal and go out. Unfortunatly I was sensible and sensitive and needed some time to finally move on.

"Julia?" Shawn looked at the blonde. A spark of hope in his eyes that wasn't going to burn out until the evening was really cancelled.

"Shawn, I'm sorry, but I don't think that it'd be much fun if only the two of us went."

Shawn groaned, letting himself fall into the cantine chair. "Such spoilers you are. What am I supposed to do now? I don't want to spend a friday evening alone on my couch watching trash tv. What are you gonna do?"

"I'm going over to Louis'at eight." I announced, sipping at my coffee.

"Cool, can I join?"Shawn looked at me begging. "Please, Niall!"

"Fine, fine.I wanted to discuss the evening with him. I guess, it won't hurt if you're there as well."

"I'll be there as well." Julia said.
