"Real Quincy is so different from the Quincy in your daydream," Dawn says to Nikki.
"I'm sure he's not always like that, he was probably just having a bad day," Nikki said, unconvincingly, "right Rachel?"
Nikki and Dawn realize that Rachel isn't with them.
"Where'd she go?" Nikki asks.
"Do I look like her tracking device?" Dawn asks back.
"You could've just said 'no'"
"I could've but I didn't."
They find Rachel standing by the closed door of Mr. Wayne's classroom, peeping through the small window on the door.
"What're you doing?" Dawn asks.
"She always does this," was the only thing Rachel said, still looking through the window.
"Who always does what?" Nikki says and pushes Rachel to the side so that she and Dawn can look through the window.
Mr. Wayne and Mackenzie are the only persons in the classroom. Mr. Wayne is sitting at his desk while Mackenzie is sitting on top of it. Nothing inappropriate is going on, they're just talking and laughing so Nikki and Dawn don't get what the big deal is.
"She always steals the guys I like," Rachel answers.
"Like that Daniel guy?" Dawn asks and Rachel tenses.
"How do you know about him?"
"Mackenzie mentioned him once in biology."
"Wait, are you saying that you like Mr. Wayne?" Nikki asks.
"Sort of."
"Aww"Dawn coos. "Don't 'aww', he's a teacher"Nikki says
"So?"
"So, its not aww worthy"
"Whatever, but we have to play matchmaker"
"No way. I'm not gonna hook up my teacher and best friend"
"Come on Nikki"
"No, we're not doing it. We're supposed to help her get over this crush not encourage it. Mr. Wayne is like 80 years old"
"32"Rachel corrects. "He's more than 20 years older than you"
"You're the one who said age is just a number and you were crazy about how handsome he is"
"He is handsome but that doesn't mean I have a crush on him"
"But-"
"No butts, we're not doing it"Nikki says in an end of discussion tone
"No!"Dawn yells after a few seconds of silence, drawing the attention of everyone in the hallway, "what makes you think that you can just veto this?"
Nikki was shocked, Dawn was always calm, she had never seen her like this before. "You act like you're the leader of this group, you're too bossy and you expect everyone to do what you say. I'm sick and tired of it, I'm sick and tired of you and I'm sick and tired of doing these stupid missions"
"I didn't ask you to do them with me"
"But I had to, I know the only reason you're doing it is because you want to be more popular than your sister"
"That's not true!"
"It is and you know it. You wanted everyone to love you more but you knew you wouldn't be able to do that so you made them fear you instead"
"You don't know what you're talking about so just shut up!"
"You shut up!"
"You shut up!"
"Guys-"Rachel tries to intervene. "Stay out of this"they say, glare at each other and walk in opposite directions, leaving everyone in bewilderment. They have never argued before except for little quibbling here and there but nothing serious
Rachel didn't know who to run after so she just stood there

"What are you doing here?"Nikki asks Dawn when she sees her leaning on her locker. "I got so used to waiting by your locker before class starts that I unconsciously walked here and now I don't know what to do"Dawn explains, not even glancing at Nikki
"Well can you not-know-what-to-do somewhere else?"
"I don't have anywhere else to go"
"Then go stand by you teleiophile friend's locker"
"I will. And just so you know, we're doing that mission without you"
"I don't care"
"Of course you don't"Dawn said sarcastically. "Trouble in paradise girls?"Laura asks, walking up to them with Mackenzie beside her
"Shut it Laura"Dawn says harshly. "You shut it!"Nikki fires back, surprising everyone
"Why are you attacking me?"Dawn asks, still bewildered. "Because if I attack Laura instead, I'll be on the same side with you but I don't want to"
"You are so childish"
"At least I'm not a sidekick"everyone gasps. Dawn's eye twitches in anger, "what did you call me?"
"You heard me loud and clear, you are just my sidekick and nothing more. You say that I'm bossy but I'm not, you're the one who sold yourself out as a sidekick. You've always been my sidekick and you always will be"Nikki says with a little more sass than necessary
"Take that back"
"Make me"
"I'm gonna-"Dawn was about to lunge at Nikki when the bell rang, "saved by the bell"Dawn says spitefully
