Claudia "We'll need to do surgery. We'll do it early in the morning so you'll have to stay here" the dr says and i nod. He talks to my dad and gives him more information. So earlier when the injury occured none of my teammates checked on me. Which made me feel like shit not gonna lie. Even now. I've gotten ZERO messages from them. Brittney and some of her teammates have dmed me. "How did it feel?" Vic asks. My dad , vic , nate and sam are here. "I don't know how to explain it. It's something ive NEVER felt before. It hurt so bad. Still hurts but nothing like before" i say.
"Damn. But i don't know if you saw , they replayed the part and it was done intentionally" nate says and i nod. "It sucks" i say. "Don't put it on you though. You had no control over it" sam says. We stay talking then my dad tells me what the dr said. I can't eat anything because of surgery tomorrow. We watch the game and i start to slowly falling asleep. I'm tired and in pain.
"How has she been?" I faintly hear. "In pain , she says she's fine though. But you know how stubborn she is" i hear. Let me see what they gotta say. "Yeah" the voice that i can now recoginze as alex says. "What did they tell her?" He asks. "She has surgery in the morning for a Achilles Tendon" nate says. "Damn its serious serious then" alex says. They talk a bit more. "Yeah it's fine I'll stay here don't worry" alex says then i hear nate leave. I feel him pat/rub my head then he pecks my forehead causing me to chuckle. "Babe" he says and i chuckle. "Sup kid" i say chuckling. I put both hands on the side of his face and kiss him. "I've been worried about you" he says. "Don't be i'm fine" i say.

"Morning" alex says and pecks ny lips. I made him leave last night. Its 6am right now. My surgery is at 8am. "Morning" i say. "Goodmorning" a nurse says. "Goodmorning" we all say as alex sits on the chair next to me interlocking our fingers. "So claudia we'll take you in to prepare for surgery" she says. "Okay" i say. "I'll be back right now" she says and leaves. "Do you have a game today?" I ask. "No , I'm gonna take care of my baby" he says and i chuckle. "Babe" i say. "We do have a game today but I'm not being put in today" he says. "Why?" I ask. "I don't even know. Doc told me last night. I didn't really pay attention i just needed to come" he says and i chuckle.
"I'll be here waiting for you okay? You'll be fine , everything will be fine okay" alex says. "I love you" he says and pecks my lips. "I love you" i say. The nurses come in and take me to the presurgery section. I stay there for a bit then get taken to the room and get put to sleep. From there i don't know what happened. I wake up and i have a splint on my leg and an iv. "How are you feeling?" Alex asks. "It hurts a bit" i say. "They said pain is normal. They said you can take pain medication if needed" nate says. We talk for a bit then nate goes and gets us food. I'll be discharged later tonight. "Hi Clau , how are you feeling? We've been worried about you" his mom says. His mom , dad and sister are on facetime. "Hi! I'm in a bit of pain but other than that I'm fine" i say.

"Babe , come on you have to eat" alex says. "I'm not hungry" i say. "Please. I need you to eat. I need to know you ate something before i leave" he says. "I'm not hungry" i say. "Babe , i know. Trust me i know it's still hard for you. You didn't get a right way to grieve. I know. I know you not being able to play , plus the way theyve been treating you is adding up. I know. I know you're on a daily fight with these emotions. I know babe. But look at me. You need to know that I'm here for you , I'll never leave you. I'll be here by your side fighting these emotions with you. Okay? I just need you to help me help you. I need you to not give up. As hard as this is i need you to stay strong" he says and i cry. He hugs me and i break down.
"It's hard. She was the person who kept me together. I just i don't see why i should be here if she isn't here" i say and he hugs me tighter. "I love you , i need you here. You need to be here. You're a beautiful , smart , strong , special girl. She wouldn't want you talking like this. She would want you to stay strong and continue with this career. I know you cannot do it right now but this will make you stronger. This is just a pebble along the long road. You cannot and i won't let you give up" he says.
