A/N: I got inspired by an imagine that I read a bit ago but I can find the book it was in. If anyone know who wrote the original let me know so I can give them full credit.

~~THIS WAS NOT MY ORIGINAL IDEA, FULL CREDIT GOES TO THE ORIGINAL WRITER!! ~~
I was waking home from my job at the local grocery store. It was cold, windy and rainy. As I walk past the lot I hear something making noises. I walk into the lot around the abandoned car to the big tree and see Johnny Cade sitting against the tree rapped up in his soaking wet jean jacket. He was also shivering.
"Johnny what are you doing out here in this weather?"
"Nothing" he mumbled.
"Your parents fighting again" I ask as I sit down next to him. He instantly huddled up to my warmer body and put his head on my shoulder. He nodded his head.
"Why don't you go to the Curtis' or come to my house, my mom won't mind?" He shakes his head no.
"I'm not gonna be a bother to the Curtis' or you, I'll be fine out here." He says and then starts to cough.
"But your gonna get sick and your not a bother to anyone." He sneezes and cough again but will not budge.
"Well if your not going anywhere I'm not going anywhere. I'm not gonna leave you out here all alone."
"You can't do that your gonna get si......". He stops and realized that he is saying what I just said to him. He lifts his head off my shoulder and looks at me.
"Will you please just go to the Curtis' or come home with me?" He thinks about it then drops his head.
"Fine, I'll come with you." He says defeated. I stand up and stick my hand out to help him up. He grabs my hand and I pull him up. We start to walk and he continues to cough sneeze and shiver. Once we get back to my house we head up to my room. Johnny instantly collapses on my bed exhausted.
"Do you want a pair of dry clothes?"
"If you don't mind." I nod my head and head to my older brother's room to grab a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. Johnny changes and we both hop in bed.
"Thanks for letting me sleep here." Johnny whispers.
"No problem you are always welcomed"
We both fall asleep instantly.
