Sick Day (Steve)

~Steve's P.O.V~

I head over to (Y/N)'s house to pick her up. We are going to hang with the gang today and maybe go to the drive-in later. Once I get there I knock on the door. When it opens it's (Y/N)'s mom.
"Oh hey Mrs. (Y/L/N), is (Y/N) home" I say.
"Hi Steve, she is come in."
I walk in and she closes the door behind me.
"(Y/N) is up in her room, I'm gonna be honest I think she is still asleep." I laughed a little. "You can go right up. I'm heading out to do some errands. You two have fun today." She finished grabbing her purse and heading for the door.
"Ok thank you" I said as she closes the door behind her.

I head up to (Y/N)'s room. I open the door and there she is fast asleep. I walk over, take my shoes off and slip into the covers with her. (Y/N) instantly cuddles into me. I rub her back for a bit. Eventually she starts to wake up.
"Good morning sleepy head" I say as she rolls over so she can see my face.
"G'morning" she said in a groggy voice. She looks so cute all tired. I go to push a piece of hair out of her face but as I do I can feel heat radiating off her. I then place the back of my hand on her forehead and she is burning up.

"(Y/N) your burning up" I say getting up to head to her connected bathroom.
"I'm fine Steve really" she says sitting up. I fine a thermometer and bring it back to her.
"Will you please just check for me" I ask and she sighs taking the thermometer and putting it in her mouth. After a few minutes I take it out and it reads 101.2.
"Looks like someone is sick" I say.
"I'm fine really Steve see" she said standing up and walking around the bed to me but stopping half way to grab on the bed for support. I get up and help her back to the bed.
"Just lay back down ok" I plead. She hesitates but nods and lays back down. I go to the bathroom again and get some aspirin and a cool wash cloth for her.

I come back to (Y/N) all under the covers.
"Her take this I give her the aspirin and a glass of water." She take it and lays back down as I put the washcloth on and she sighs in relief.
"Does that feel better" she nods. I get back in the bed with her and she buries her head into my neck and instantly falls back asleep. I end up falling asleep too.

~Few hours later~
I wake up to the sound of someone talking. I realize it's (Y/N) mumbling in her sleep. She jolts awake.
"Are you ok" I ask wrapping my arms around her.
"Yeah just a bad dream I'm good...." she stops and gets up and runs to the bathroom. I follow her as she collapses next to the toilet to empty her stomach. Once she is done I help her back to bed. The rest of the day is just us relaxing and sleeping.
"Thanks for staying with me all day and taking care of me" she says.
"Anything for you (Y/N)" I say kissing her.
