THE FALL OF 1985 wasn't easy on Mike Wheeler. His best friend and ex-girlfriend moved away to a big city far from Hawkins, and not to mention, his friends acted like as if nothing happened, all of it, Jim Hopper dying, Billy Hargrove dying, El losing her powers and last but not least, the Byers family moving away.
And not to mention, oh, how fucking perfect, a new family moved into the old Byers' home and he heard it was a family with two kids, a girl and a boy. The father who worked as a journalist as his wife selled plastic containers that can hold leftovers.
He heard there was the boy was their age and that was all that he pretty much heard about it. Stuff like that didn't get his interest that much. But then, the second month of high school, yes, his first year of high school, had to go and get ruined.
All because of Max Mayfield.
