LOGAN NOW APPROACHED his sister, glancing from side to side. "Hey.." He said, tugging his backpack strap further up his shoulder. "Hey loser. Where the fuck were you? Always meet here five minutes after the bell rings, we had a goddamn deal." She said, flicking his cigarette to the ground, right between his boots. He glanced up and rolled his eyes before stepping on the cigarette.

"Sorry this wasn't my priority." He says before walking over to the passenger door. Her and her fucking 1967 Chevy Impala that their dad passed on to her once she turned sixteen. It was his originally and she never even wanted it.

Until Logan excitedly said he wanted it once he turned sixteen and got his license. Even counted down the months and everything once he said it. Then on her sixteenth, she said she wanted it once she had her license. And whatever Larry's baby girl wants, she gets. Such fucking bullshit.

Logan will never get over it.

Just because there's an age gap of four years between them, it just wasn't fair she got everything and he got nothing. For Christ sake, his mother says he can use the Vista Cruiser whenever he wants when he turns sixteen and gets his license.

"Drop me off at the arcade. Tell dad or mom and I'll throw all of your birth control pills in the toilet and flush them so you'll get knocked up.." He says and she rolls her eyes. "Whatever, like I care where you go." She said before turning down the street, in the direction towards the arcade.

"If mom or dad wanna know where I went, tell them I went to Hell since it's what they fucking told me for being myself." He says before slamming the door shut. "Hey! Stop slamming the fucking car doors!" She basically screeched at him.

"Oh! Fuck off!" He shouted and approached his new friends by the bike racks. "Excuse my bitch of a sister... what's up?" He smiled and Max puts her bike into the bike rack. "God, we are so much more alike than we thought.. Let's go see if you can beat my high score on Dig Dug before these losers!" She says, linking her arm with Logan's.

Inside the arcade, Logan did try Dig Dug. At least three times and each time, he was so so so close to getting to Max's score. He gave up the third time but then Dustin hands him more quarters. "Come on.. Try one more time!" He says excitedly. "You sure? This is a lot of money." Logan says.

"I think you're almost there!" Dustin nods, sure of it. Mike rolls his eyes as Logan took the money and excitedly entered them into the coin slot before starting the game once more.

He was almost there and if he stayed on for a little more longer, he might be able to reach her high score. "Oh my God! You reached it!" Max said, smiling widely and laughing. "Oh, hell yeah! Logan Simmons is a God!" He said and Mike's face scrunched up. "Did you just refer to yourself in the third person?" He asked as Lucas looks at him.

"Did he just call himself God?"

"I fucking did it! I beat your high score!" He said excitedly to Max who highfived him with both hands, smiling widely at him. "I thought you said if anyone beat your high score, you would beat them up." Dustin said who Logan turns to and Max looks at. "Okay, but this is Logan we're talking about. Look at him. I can't fight him. He's probably stronger than your scrawny asses." She says.

"I don't even hit girls, so like, you'd win against me." Logan says, leaning against the video game and Max chuckles, glancing from him to Mike. "Oh! We should go rent a movie, watch it at your place, Mike," she says and he glanced at Logan.

"No thanks." He says and she sends him a look. "Come on, let's go to the video store. You can stand on the back of my bike when we go to Mike's." She says and Logan nods, simply following behind her. They walk to the store next door and walk in. "Hey dipshits! Hope you don't mess up the horror aisle again!" A worker said, standing by the counter with a slushy in his hand, sipping it through a straw.

Logan noticed a girl behind the counter and he walked over right away, grinning at her. She glanced up and immediately looked down. He leans against the counter with his elbows on the top. "Hey... where's the pornography?" He asked and she glanced up, furrowing her brows together.

"You don't look old enough, kid." She says and he scoffs. "I'm 18." He smiled and she squints her eyes at him. "Yeah, right. You're hanging out with Steve's dorky kids." She says and Steve looks at her. "Robin!" He says and she rolls her eyes.

"There is an adult section, but you look twelve." She says and he crossed his arms. "I look twelve? I look at most, sixteen," he argued and she sighs. "You hanging with dingus' kids.. So which one dragged you in?" She said with a forced smile. "Dustin?"

He sighs at her guess, "no. Max did. Keeps saying I'll get along with Mike pretty well, though I don't know what it means." He shrugs and a grin spread across her face. "I think I know... Anyway, you're a new kid, where did you move to here from?" She asked and he glanced around, "New York." He says and she nodded her head. City kid. A bonus.

For Mike, at least. "Do you have family?" She asked and he nods. "I mean... I didn't move here on my own." He smiled and she chuckles. "Sassy... Siblings?" She asked and he nodded. "Older sister, Lolita, your age. We call her Lola especially after that movie called Lolita." He says and she nods, knowing exactly what movie he was talking about.

"And that's it. Other than my shit parents, Larry and Elizabeth." He says and she chuckled. "Isn't everyone's parents shitty?" She asked and he shrugs, glancing around to see Mike was looking their way but once he saw Logan look over, he quickly looked down. "From what I can tell, Mike likes you. He's just worried after El and Will." She said and Logan quickly turned back to her right away.

"El and Will?" He asked and she nodded, setting her chin onto the palm of her hand. "Mike.. he's a bit stingy, dodgy, different than the other three who welcome anyone with open arms into their little group.. They've tried it before two or three weeks ago but Mike scared her off and Max hated him for it." She says and he nodded.

"I don't scare easily."
