WHEN HE had gotten home, dinner had not been made, yet his family were home. "I never wanna see you again!" He heard and it caught him off guard, walking into the kitchen. "You need me! You need me!" Larry said to Elizabeth who stood on the other side of the kitchen table with Lolita. "What's... going on?" Logan asked, pulling his backpack further up his shoulder.

"Nothing, fag, go to your fucking room!" Larry said in a fury rage and Elizabeth gasped. "Leave! Get the fuck out! Never call Logan that again! You'll never see us ever again!" She screamed at him and Larry huffed, grabbing his things. He left, just like that and Logan looked at his mother.

"Mom?" He said faintly and she broke down into sobs, sitting down at the table. She covered her face and just cried. He looked at Lolita who shrugged, confused as well. They never saw their mother cry before, it was unusual. Logan just went to his room once he saw Lolita go to their mom, rubbing her back and comforting her.

Logan set his backpack down and waited, however he did not think of anything else rather than what his father called him, how furiously he had said it. Logan bit his bottom lip then Lolita called out, "Logan! Supper!" He got up quickly.

He sat down and saw it was spaghetti and meatballs. The three ate quietly and then Elizabeth got up, leaving the kitchen. Logan looked at Lolita who just sent him a forced smile before looking away. Logan sighed softly and got up, putting his plate away along with his mother's. "Is she okay?" Logan finally asked and Lolita took a moment to even answer. "She said she wanted a divorce... Larry got pissed and said she needs her, it's why she didn't want one before even after catching him with his secretary twice back in Queens." She explained quietly; he nods in response.

Logan went back to his room where he spent some time doodling on his homework paper rather than doing the homework itself. He finally decided to go see if his mom was okay, she was already in there with Lolita who was telling her she was doing the right thing; divorcing him.

"Mom?" Logan entered the room and sat at the end of the bed. Elizabeth looked up, "you two deserve... an explanation and an apology." She said and wiped at her eyes gently underneath them. "Explanation? Apology? For what?" Lolita said as she moved to sit beside Logan instead.

"When I was sixteen." Elizabeth began and glanced up at them, "I met this girl; green eyes, raven hair and the prettiest smile you can see on anyone, ever. I liked her, she became my friend quickly and while hanging out together, I kinda kissed her cheek and she figured it was an invitation to kiss me... on the lips. I kissed back, I liked her, she was pretty, beautiful even," she continued and her two children couldn't believe what they were hearing at first, just continuing to listen.

"She continued to come over a lot, have sleepovers with me where we'd hold hands, cuddle and watch movies, and one night, she wanted to take things further, only it wasn't the best night to chose, my mother walked in, she made my friend get dressed and leave, even calling her an abomination and telling her her parents will be expecting a phone call about it, I was left with a lecture and a... lesson from my father, I was sent to the same camp as Lolita... I stayed there for a year, because I refused the treatment until one of the boys told me I just needed to go along with it, pretend they were... fixing me. And I did." She sighed.

"And then, I had an arranged marriage... with your father, who I got set up with, by his parents and my parents, they didn't know, only my parents did who agreed to it because I was... and still am... A lesbian. I-I didn't know what to do really, it felt like there was no way out, I had sex with Larry the first night, which is when I got pregnant with Lola, and... then everything happened so fast, Larry took me to religious crap all of the time and forced me to not raise you guys into believing the opposite of what I've taught you guys... I'm really sorry, to both of you." She looks up.

"He found out... blackmailed me into everything and I wish I could have done something, because I feel like you guys don't feel like you're loved and cared for like Karen Wheeler said and I never wanted you guys to feel that way, after all that I went through. Lolita, I'm so sorry Larry convinced me to send you there, Logan, I'm so sorry I didn't fight back enough so you can keep hanging out with Mike, because you can..." She said and by now she had tears at the memories of ever getting caught, of ever going to that fucking camp.

"You know what, mom? I'm sorry too, I'm sorry you were forced to live like this... Larry's an asshole and I'm kind of ashamed he's my father." Lolita said and Logan glanced at her before looking down. It was hard enough for Logan to get thoughts about his own sexuality, but being sent to camp? Being forced to marry the opposite gender?

He wondered what kind of crap his mom went through everyday internally. "I'm sorry... For being a jerk. You didn't deserve that, mom..." He frowned and she wiped her tears. "I forgive you but... I mean.... It made me who I am today. I'm no longer gonna be scared little Elizabeth, hiding behind her husband who calls all the shots... Lolita, if you like Robin and genuinely want to keep seeing her, I'd... like to meet her." Elizabeth offers, smiling softly and Lolita blushed at the mention of Robin.

She nods, "I'd like that." She says and Elizabeth glanced at Logan who awkwardly looked away. "And Mike..." She said and Logan glanced up at her. "We've been dating since Valentines' Day." He said quickly and she smiles. "Well, good for you two... Because when you find someone who genuinely likes you, hold on and... never let go... Okay?" She said and Logan nods, smiling.

He likes this side of his mom.
